Capt Pat

Kelleher should have held onto the third as well instead of spilling it to the scorer.

A terrible performance from Liverpool way under par.

Agreed and his kicking is and has been really below average

Just a word on the flag ban.

Self entitled champagne socialists who claim to reflect Liverpool supporters have ensured that Klopps European career ends in humiliation.
What a sh1tshow. Hope the 74p saved on a ticket is worth this you absolute tubes.

Holy f**k! Didn't see the match or any updates during it. Wasn't expecting THAT score line!

Will they cost England that fifth CL spot? 🙂

The Hungarian guy shouldn't have given it away so easily, all came from his mistake.
Kelleher made 2 or 3 top class saves.

If anyone can turn a deficit around it's Liverpool, wouldn't be surprised if they did but unfortunately for them they will have to go full strength now. I'm thinking they were expecting an easy enough win and be able to rest players for second leg.
NEUTRAL

Mad singling out the keeper when those in front of him stunk the place out. Liverpool fans must realise tonight what it's like to be a Utd fan atm, the lack of effort from a good half dozen of them was shocking

Was poor for the first and 3rd goals. One good save before half time to keep it 1-0.

Brian Kerr thinks Liverpool wasn't at best tonight because they didn't pick their strongest team. Looking at the bench he has a point.
Kerr is bang on the team selection showed a degree of disrespect to Atalanta and they were full value for the win. Only positives to take were the return to squad of some of the injured lads and Jota getting some minutes as the team has been very wasteful of late.Kelleher has now played two more games, Allison as good as he is record of injury is very poor for a keeper.

Wouldn't say its mad given that his two errors had a big say in the outcome.Even if he's stronger for the third goal 2-0 seems alot easier to turnaround than 3-0.

There was a deflection on the last shot that probably made Kelleher spill it.

Kelleher had a mixed bag of a night to be fair, an absolute wonder save (with his face) to save a certain goal a few minutes before he was slow to get down to the first goal.

His distribution was also poor but I think credit has to be given to Atalanta, they'd worked out the Liverpool restart strategy, didn't allow the first set of passes to get into midfield and when it goes back to Kelleher he tries to lop in just beyond midfield into the spaces behind the press, but they were there for it and physically much stronger in that area.
Atalanta won midfield throughout the game.

Gakpo had one of his better evenings and it seems he's better suited at picking the ball up in deep areas and then driving forward with it, he's not a hold up type centre forward and neither is he a run off the shoulder lad.

Nunez's wastefulness in front of goal and Salah is just dire at the minute is the main reason Liverpool are in this position.

Can't help but think Kelleher getting extra protection on here as he's  Irish if Raya or Onana concede those goals they are getting pelters. The first goal which is a howler then has a massive impact on game.  Don't see how you can proportion more blame on Salah who came on at ht to a team that was clearly not at themselves.
