Foregone conclusion or not, might as well have a thread. Tradition, lip service and all that!  :)

Maybe Dublin will do us a favour and hit those kickouts down the middle to Neil Gallagher.

Dublin 1/10, not many 1/10 shots lose.
Walk-in down mchale rd , sun out, summers day , game day . That's all .

Dublin clear & deserved favourites. They are a magnificent team & will dominate for years in all liklehood.

However no team is unbeatable & if Donegal get everything right they are in with a chance.
For what shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world & loses his soul.

Think we'll do as a few other teams have done and keep it tight to begin with, although hopefully for a bit longer. The important thing is to delay the arrival of the inevitable blitz and not get struck with a couple of quickfire goals like Monaghan yesterday. If a goal is scored, someone needs to lose or dislodge a contact lens, like Tony Blake used to do 10-15 years ago, to give the team a minute to compose themselves. Even with all that, it is very hard to see us staying with them for the full 70.

Hard to know what to do about the kickouts. Push up on them and Cluxton will still find someone free. Fall back and you're guaranteeing them possession. Hard to see us holding them to twelve or thirteen points with the possession they will likely have either way.

Anyone know how much money has been pumped into Dublin compared to Donegal?

No money pumped into Donegal at all.

Donegal get paid in shiny baubles & containers of second hand clothes from our glorious capital, both of which we are very grateful for.

donegal spent in excess of 1m euros on their one team in 2012.

Nobody has ever asked how that happened.

Jaysus lads, don't we have enough threads already discussing Dublin finances!

The first sign of a fan expecting a loss!

I've heard talk that Dublin get a lot of money from the GAA. Anybody hear anything about that?

dublin spent 1.5 m in 2013 covering 7 teams that reached All Ireland semi finals.

which roughly means that donegal and dublin are equally matched in terms of team preparation costs.
