Clonoe drop their first point of the season after a low scoring 0-7 to 1-4 draw away to Pomeroy.
The score at h/t was 0-3 to Clonoe.
Didn't seem to be an evening for high scoring encounters overall with the weather conditions.
The Fianna only scored 0-5 away to Killyclogher and Clarke's 0-9 away to Trillick.

Fianna have Edendork on 27th August which will be a huge game if they don't pick up any points this weekend. I'd still be hugely surprised if they went down especially if they have the safety net of a play off.

If they have the safety net of a play off.
Another defeat tonight.
Galbally and Edendork could gain 2 more points this weekend and put a bit of daylight between themselves and Fianna/Greencastle/Moortown.

They do have an easier run in than Greencastle and should get the play off spot.

Poor game at Plunkett Park tonight, but the conditions were awful. Probably a fair result although we scored a goal late on to go one up and clonoe hit an equaliser 4 mins into injury time. We've a fair few men to come back in, Frank burns, brendy burns, Hugh pat and Lorcan Kilpatrick, so would be hopeful of a championship run. It looked like clonoe were at full strength.

Goals_Will_Come

Galbally ( 9 ) - Donaghmore (A), Omagh (A), Trillick (A), Loughmacrory (H).
Edendork ( 8 ) - Loughmacrory (A), Coalisland (A), Killyclogher (H), Eglish (H).
Greencastle ( 6 ) - Ardboe (A), Errigal Ciaran (H), Dungannon (H), Trillick (A).
Coalisland ( 6 ) - Carrickmore (H), Edendork (H), Loughmacrory (A), Donaghmore (H).
Moortown ( 5 ) - Errigal Ciaran (A), Donaghmore (H), Dromore (H), Dungannon (A).

Donaghmore bound to owe a few teams favours from over the years.

Hard to see where Moortown or Greencastle would pick up points.
Galbally and Edendork could pick up 4 more each., Coalisland 2.

What set of results would give us a Clonoe/Coalisland replay off?

Tyrone11234

Derrylaughan to beat clonoe and beragh to win their remaining 4 meaning clonoe goes into playoffs as 2nd.

square_ball

If Derrylaughan were to beat Clonoe and Beragh won the remainder of their games it would leave Clonoe in the play offs. You would have to make them favourites for the championship so you'd think they'll get automatically promoted one way or the other. But that would definitely be interesting. It would be the biggest game between each other since Clonoe said no to 3 in a row in the early 90s.

clarshack

Clonoe have Derrylaughan and Kildress away. No guarantees they will win the league the way Beragh are playing too.

inroundthesquare

Beragh's next two games are Moy away and Pomeroy away.
On a good run but would be surprised if they won both of those.

RedHand88

Getting tasty at bottom of senior and top of intermediate.

Who's managing Omagh and Coalisland?

Tyrone11234

Clonoe basically secured the league Divison 2 league after beragh got well beat by Moy. Things looking tasty in Div 1- a moortown win tomorrow night wouid leave the Fianna bottom with their game with Edendork looking more and more important. Greencastle have the head to head over Fianna however moortown don't so it's vital they get points off an Errigal side who have an eye on championship. Wouid still fancy Coalisland in a playoff with Greencastle however the team coming up will give them bother

No division 2 playoff team will beat the D1 team

ClubScene13

Clonoe need a win and a draw from Derrylaughan (A) Tattyreagh (H) Kildress (A). Tremendous season from Beragh to push it to this point.

Cookstown secured division 3 league today - again Fintona with a brilliant effort in making them work for it. I don't know how cookstown are back in junior to begin with but that's another story.

Coalisland v Edendork a massive game now, panic stations for one of the counties biggest clubs. As some other posters have said, I could only really see pomeroy on a winters day having a chance of beating them in a playoff scenario. Will probably do enough, but then again they've had plenty of bad days so far this year and it only takes 1 more in November to see you go down. Jesus, they would win that intermediate league at a canter
