Quote from: SouthDublinBro on May 06, 2024, 07:26:19 PMA lot of people owe the Galway goalie Gleeson an apology. His frees into the wind at the end won them that game. I remember he got a lot of stick over the past few years, notably from his own countymen.
Do they really? He was a calamity against Armagh goalkeeping more inclined with junior b than an all ireland quarter final.  He did well with his frees at weekend yes, but criticism after the Armagh game was fully warranted.
If Donegal win the Ulster Final , Armagh will meet Galway again.

What kind of person uses the word enjoy in relation to a story like that?

Well, a lot of people here are all for the cultural enrichment we get from open borders. Vile, I know, but there you have it...

Again, wee Billy big balls behind a hidden name... Grim carryon.
It's what's driven twitter etc into the sewers.

Right. And your name's JoG2?! Does anyone here use their real name?

The scheduling of the U20 All Ireland series all appears to be too rushed.  Roscommon at the biggest disadvantage with just 6/7 days between the Connacht final and All Ireland semi final.  Biggest match at lot of these 18 to 20 year olds will likely play in their careers and all teams should be given two weeks to prepare for All Ireland semi final and also another two weeks to prepare for the All Ireland final.

Quote from: Look-Up! on Today at 07:19:18 AMTypical Utd. Will more than likely come out like men possessed against the gunners at the weekend.

I just cant see that backline and midfield matching up to Arsenal at the minute.

On the race for 4th.  Villa have 2 games left and I dont think that they win either of them (Liverpool H, Palace A). The hope is that Spurs go full on spursy.
With Fernandes, Scooby Doo and Rashford back, at home after that humiliation coupled with Arsenal being on edge anyway, I see drama and a real struggle and it would be just typical of Utd to play out of their skins and hand City the league.

I think Villa are safe. Spurs need 7 points and to correct a huge GD. Gunners would certainly love to see their north London rivals make a cut of it to get to CL. Means having to beat City.

"Scooby Doo" looks like somebody is a fan of that buck that makes money off United on youtube.

If Arsenal don't beat a United side by a bit to spare on Sunday with makeshift defence with loads of players starting whom have checked out because they know they won't be at the club next season then it will pretty much highlight why Its over 20 years since Arsenal won the league title.

Quote from: Captain Scarlet on Today at 04:30:33 PMAh Kildare have gone back and in those games we had Ben McCormack and Neil Flynn too. They got 16 points between them in the two games. Our subs v Louth looked like U16s coming in.

Glenn and the lads are just dug in now and have never sorted the fact that we can be walked through and we actually bottle ourselves up in the forwards.

I honestly still have no clue what style of play we are even trying.
Surely the Tailteann is the best place to test that. Kildare have nothing to lose.
