For info I do both I cycle to work a couple of days a week and I drive a couple of days a week.

For every youtube video of a bad cyclist I can show you a bad one of a driver so it works both ways.

The biggest problem both North and South are our roads are not designed for modren cars never mind modren cars and cyclists.

We need a bit of give and take from all road users

I see Celtic fans are now being asked to enter the ground via the Boucher road and will be directed into the KOP stand so will be able to openly support the team.  Will give the home fans someone to openly hate now apart from the 11 players on the park.

Bought them through the Linfield website I think. I'm hearing that the allocation Celtic didn't take were then sold on by Linfield themselves.

Watched SAS - Rogue Warriors (3 episodes on BBC iplayer), very interesting. Concentrates on their formation and only deals with WW2 Activities. Paddy Mayne was certainly an interesting character / leader. Thinking of buying a Biography now.

The Democratic Unionist Party has confirmed that it received £425,000 from a group of business people led by a Scottish Conservative party member and passed it on to help fund the UK pro-Brexit campaign.

The money was used to help finance an advertising campaign in Britain during the EU referendum.

The money was given to the DUP by the Constitutional Research Council, which is chaired by Richard Cook, a former vice chairman of the Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party.

Defending the transaction, the DUP's Jeffrey Donaldson said the party did its bit to give the British people the opportunity to once again govern their own affairs.


As part of the campaign, there was an expensive four-page 'Vote To Leave EU' advertisement in the British Metro newspaper.

The paper is available in London and other cities but not in Northern Ireland.

The DUP had faced calls to reveal how the cash was raised for the campaign.

DUP leader Arlene Foster had admitted that the party received donations after registering as a Leave campaigner.

However, when pushed for details about the donors during a recent UTV pre-election debate, she would only say: "From an organisation in England that wants to see the union kept and make sure we can have a United Kingdom."

Donations to political parties in Northern Ireland are kept confidential for fear of identifying donors. But other political parties had demanded that the DUP clarify who funded its "lavish" pro-Brexit advertising campaign.

Amazed that they published this but I guess they looked at it and thought their voters wouldn't mind .. actually they might like it    ..

Saying all that, are they really in the clear? .... I'd be interested to know exactly how much they received and exactly how much they paid out  ... Just to see if they were basically prostituting themselves .. Aron Banks said they asked for £30k per month to back his leave campaign.....   Is there more of this to come out ?

I'd love to know a bit more about this "Group of Businessmen" and are the really just uber unionists or are they somehow gonna make £££ out of this?

Either way, they're obviously as thick as the DUP as Brexit certainly aint gonna help the union ..

They are still not really telling us where the funds have came from. Its a group of businessmen is this one person or 100 people its really as clear as mud

Its been going on for years

It seems to me that the language is thriving,with many Protestants attending classes in East Belfast even,all in public funded buildings,so I don't see any need for legislation.Far more important things to worry about like the Economy,Health Service etc,rather than the DUP and SF distractions like this.

My understanding is that the Irsih language act is to be brought in to help re-establish the languange very much the same way the Welsh language act helped with the welsh language

Sexton was very raw then SE but still showed glimpses in attack that I just don't think Paddy has in his locker. If you want Ulster week in week out Paddy does have a good eye for attack, the game plan for Ireland suits Sexton better than Paddy and thats the big difference. Though the Ireland managment do change the game plan to suit what midfield pairing he has in place.

Wouldn't usually watch the rugby but mrs said there was a game on. My brother who has no interest in sport was roaring at the tv too. After 20 minutes of savage hits and three subs on cos of injuries my bro says 'u wouldn't see that in hurling or footie'. I admitted he was right but also noted that sport should involve some semblance of skill, something only shown in glimpses by the best team out of the 8 that play it. A sport which is adored by as many women as men should be treated with total suspicion.

No they cant legally refuse it as that would still be indirect descrimination.

Can gay Nordie couples as Irish citizens not get married in the 26 Cos or as Brit citizens not get married in England, Scotland or Wales.

They can but its not recognised as a marriage its a civil partnership

At the end of the day here Ashers could have declined the job easier by saying eg I'm sorry we are busy we will be unable to complete the job by the date you requested, Due to copywrite laws I am unable to produce an Image of Bert and Ernie without written permission from the owner of the copywrite.

Ashers decided to take the stance that as they on religious grounds they do not agree with the message at the end of the day that is discrimination and the courts found that

Were they targeted quite possibly, where they wrong in the eyes of the law yes. Will this help the agenda of same sex marriage in Northern Ireland I hope so
