Hurling Discussion / Armagh v Roscommon minor photos
August 08, 2009, 11:51:29 PM
Link to photographs I took at Armagh v Roscommon All Ireland Hurling Minor B Quarter Final, Armagh won 1-21 to 2-06 (may be a point out either way)

As may work out from photos there well may have been more on the field than watching.

One of Armagh's players had to be stretchered off with what appeared to be a neck injury after a collision with the Roscommon number 6 who was running at Armagh defence, can only hope he's ok

Was thinking that perhaps a thread for links to game photos might be an option, that's if there are others who take photos of games and load them to the net.

GAA Discussion / Photos Armagh V Dublin U21 challenge
January 31, 2009, 06:36:39 PM
Follow link to see photos from last nights U21 challenge game, wet and wild conditions didn't make for great football (or a good crowd) but it was free so shouldn't complain too much.
Don't know what the final score was, as scoreboard not in operation, think Dublin ran out comfortable enough winners but when taking pics can't really keep track of score, Dublin had a fair size lead going in at half time but Armagh got back into it in second half with the wind at their back, Dublin scored a penality and Armagh missed one. The ball was in the back of the Dublin goal and the ref appeared to say it was a squareball but took out his book and seemed to tick it so no idea if he gave it or not.

General discussion / something for the weekend
October 05, 2008, 11:55:56 AM
Was watching "something for the weekend" this morning and got to wondering, how come not seen any GAA team tops in the photos of those who have tried out the cooking recipes, obviously as a uk programme there are lots of soccer tops. They keep banging on about soccer so people wear them to have more chance of being shown but would love to see the presenters trying to work out what GAA team jersey they where wearing, probably have trouble with Kerry and Tyrone never mind any other county team coulours.  :D

Just wondering do GAA supporters not cook, suffer too much from the night before to watch what is the best of a bad mornings viewing if not got that many channels, or are all GAA supporters off to watch teams training and not watch the programme.

Hope this in right forum, thought though it mentions GAA not really on the topic of actual games etc.
