Castlebar very much a side that rely on goals and they got some very soft ones today.

Clan Na ngael very much a side that rely on frees and they got some very soft ones today.

Last free by Shine wide there! Umpires most not have looked as they must have thought he'd score that with his eyes closed.

Inconsistency of black card again. Didnt think Aidan Walsh deserved black then Ritchie Feeney does same thing minute later and gets yellow. Where is Tom King for Castlebar? Was the main man 2 years ago.

ref doing his utmost to keep it close some very very dodgy frees for rossies

Cynical teams give away frees. Fair play to clan never gave up. Goals were Jimmy burke types, horrid stuff.

Corofin favorites by 11 puts.  I think I would pick Mary's toose by less.

And I would be wrong again
I used to be indecisive but now I'm not too sure.

Castlebar won't get soft goals like that against Corofin especially two in the opening 5 minutes.

Not sure how you think they were soft. They were well worked goals  and how do you know that Castlebar will not score similar goals against Corrofin.Always hate this type of analysis where if only we did not concede those 2 goals we would have won.

Never said Clann would have won.

First goal a quickly taken free where the Clann defence were caught napping. The 2nd goal Castlebar waltzed through unchallenged then Moran completely mis hit the ball and still managed to score. Corofin won't concede similar goals because one of the strengths of their team is in defence.

Third goal was a atrocious defending on Feeney, academic after that.

Castlebar have a good team.  A lot of players with Senior inter-county experience e.g.
Feeney * 2, Cunniffe, Durcan, O'Reilly, Moran, Douglas, Kirby.
Would say they will give Corofin a good run for their money.
Where is the final or is that decided yet?

Would be surprised if Corofin lose after what happened two years ago. Castlebar when tested looked average enough and it exposed what was a brutal Breaffy performance a few weeks ago.

For Clann, it's all about learning from their mistakes today as they will likely win the county title again in the coming years.
