Unreal. He's a great actor considering he's a comedian. Must be therapeutic playing himself. I never was as uncomfortable watching something and as quiet when over.

Quote from: Captain Scarlet on April 16, 2024, 04:35:00 PMThere is a lot of back and forth re Dublin who I think we should all admit would dominate any province. They are dominating the All-Ireland long enough so it's fair to say their depth would manage Ulster too.

But, that doesn't excuse Kildare and Meath especially. They should be up and around Div 1 or solid Div 2. I know lads are saying when we are waiting to be hammered in Leinster it breeds a bad vibe, but the league is something different and Kildare were annihilated by Cork and Derry last year. That is not excuseable.

There will be a reset and some fresh blood on the pitch and on the line next year, but the Dubs are going nowhere!

It does create a bad vibe. And you can't just switch that on or off for league football.

When people argued that Dublin benefitted from financial advantages 5 years back we were told that it was a once in a life time team. That we should laud them while they are here. How does that argument stack up now?

I'd say it stacks up pretty well.  They weren't winning All-Irelands during the time Cluxton, McCaffrey and Manion were on hiatus.  All of those three, along with Fitzsimons and McCarthy will be gone soon enough.

Quote from: bennydorano on Today at 07:46:29 AMBeen watching random episodes of 3rd Rock from the Sun on Channel 4 some early mornings, dont think I was a huge fan at the time but it's aged well, some very funny moments.

It's a good show..

In other news! How (stick in your feelings) is Baby Reindeer?

Nearly finished it but quality, not Irvine Welsh Acid house style but close lol
Is it not too close to home for you with all the stalkers you have on here?!  ;D

It is a very good show and well acted.

Quote from: Armagh18 on Today at 10:25:44 AMIf there was any justice City would be stripped of all their titles. Will admit that Liverpool side did unbelievably well to get near that financially and I've a feeling physically doped team. Bit like that Mayo team running into the Dubs but at least Liverpool got their title!

Mayo are similar, All Ireland finals there to be won against Dublin in 2016,17 and found ways to lose them and even when they took out Dublin in 2012,2021 they ended up losing to Donegal,Tyrone.  We can all talk about the advantages of Manchester City and how much of soulless club there are however they weren't winning that 2021/22 league title without that Liverpool slip up with a few games to play against Tottenham who they more often than not beat in Anfield.

Next Liverpool fans will be using the excuse of making it to the Champions League final in 21/22. And the extra pressure of getting there and it affecting their League push.

Council areas.
Counties don't exist as local government areas in the 6.
