General discussion / Re: Hamas launch attack on Israel

It's going to be a hard sell for Hamas to convince the world they're honourable freedom fighters instead of stone age savages

Sounds like Stokes has mingled with a bad crowd all his life!

I would enjoy listening to a female soccer pundit with a posh accent. Urban accents, or heavy northern accents are hard on the ears.

Alex's Ferguson's wife Cathy Ferguson has died aged 84, met in 1964 and married in 1966. What Alex said when he retired from Man United.  'My wife Cathy has been the key figure throughout my career, providing a bedrock of both stability and encouragement. Words are not enough to express what this has meant to me.'   RIP

Ferguson got in a lot of bother at Rangers for marrying a Catholic.

not good for the game having same teams in final
The two best teams in the country are in the final so good for the game or not it is what it is.
If Kilkenny had to come through the much tougher Munster Championship would they be so fresh?
They had easy games like Antrim and Westmeath and could afford to throw the Wexford game too.

A lof Kilkenny support gone home at half time. An awful shower of people.

What?

Well based on that Clare supporter beating up a girl in Hill 16 I'm not surprised
What happened there?

Once the ref put away his whistle and Limerick at it, there was only going to be one winner.

And to think, Tony Keady got suspended for this shit, missing a likely Galway 3 in a row, for sthing which is common practice these days.Thought a condensed season was for club f/ball, not let any decent player run off to America.
Tony Keady was playing illegally using his brother's name,
Are you saying all these players are doing the same?

He stepped on plenty of toes over the years.

It's hard to believe it's already decade since he pulled the plug on the Farmyard!

At its peak it was viewing an online riot. It got even more hilarious when Liam himself would arrive back to the site and try and clean up the mess. Often he banned the wrong people.

Who's the female pundit? She's not bad.

I like canning as a pundit. Calm and measured and seems confident enough in himself that he's not interested in controversy nonsense.

The evening show has become a bit about the pundits. These ones here much better.

Anna Geary
Can someone stop her constantly interrupting the other panellists to womansplain?

Imagine if there was such a thing as a ref who stood up to Limerick thuggery!
Tipperary are moving in the right direction. If it wasn't for an unreal list of absentees, we'd have already booked our place in the Munster final.

Kilkenny love to portray themselves as great hurling people and talk the talk about promoting the game. However they have always been very slow to help out other counties.
Tipperary have sent far more coaches out to help the weaker counties than Kilkenny have.

You can see from Cody's reaction that helping out other counties is just not on.

It's a short turnaround for Cork and Tipperary who have to play in the All Ireland semis with only a week to prepare. Though Cork should coast home against Dublin.

For years there was more hype about him than delivery. It was only when he lost a few stone and got fit that he was any use.
