Hurling Discussion / DJ Carey on black cards and red cards

Some strong words from the Kilkenny legend about the indiscipline in both hurling and football.

He comes up with an interesting solution!

Is this a problem? It seems like the top players are having to push themselves harder every year. Is the ask too much considering they are supposed to be amateurs?

Some interesting comments from Denis Bastick: http://bit.ly/1KfQD7N

Some interesting comments from Nicky English on the proposed changes.

If every GAA parish in Ireland was a soccer parish and the GAA Championship was a soccer championship, how good would Ireland be?

Would Colm Cooper be as good as Messi? Would Bernard Brogan be like Suarez?

Here's a sample starting 11 of the possible best Ireland team if GAA players were soccer players!

Anyone missing?

I asked Dublin midfielder John McCaffrey if he was worried that more dual players are choosing football over hurling.

Here's what he said: http://bit.ly/1VFHeLg

Hey lads, I just did an article on the best footballers who never won the All Ireland.

Is there anyone I'm missing?

Hey guys, I had way too much time on my hands yesterday, so I came up with a wacky idea for a new GAA Championship & Shield competition.

Hope you like.

Hi guys,

I had an interesting interview with Tipp midfielder James Woodlock yesterday.

He believes it's going to be a cracking game and he pays tribute to Lar Corbett! You can read and listen to it here:

GAA Discussion / GAA tips/bets
February 28, 2014, 05:04:19 PM
Any good GAA tipsters on here?

I'd like to get a few involved in a new podcast I have which has a GAA tips section. I had Coilin Duffy on it this week and we were talking about some good bets for this weekend.

He suggested some good markets in Dublin v Cork and Mayo v Kerry.

He also mentioned the Leinster v Connacht interpro game!

The ht/ft price on Cork/Dublin is very interesting indeed.

Here is a link to the show:

If anyone would like to get involved with the GAA section, hit me up a pm!
