on a side point have the provincial club championship draws been made ? Cant find Connacht anywhere. Wont affect my home club from being County Champions to playing relegation playoff is some rollercoaster !

It's hard for TG4 at the minute as almost every counties championship is group stages

Cork hurling  had their final group games this weekend.
I'd have thought one of them might have been shown as there were a few close shaves involved.

Irish Examiner has rights to stream Cork championship and it's included in their subscription so I guess that muddies the waters

I don't think Armagh club football is of a great standard but putting the 15th best team in the competition to promote your own club poor form from Burns.

Crossmaglen v Silverbridge making a live TV game this time of year is insanity.
It's a 1st round game and Cross aren't even county champions this year.
They are currently 1/14 with Paddy Power to win the game.
Of all the important games up and down the country this weekend, some of them quarter finals, outrageous this game is on Live when we are only getting x2 per week.

This was me last year. Now I was wrong as this ended up a clinking game but Silverbridge making TV back to back years when they're a middle of the pack Armagh club is definitely an outlier

It makes no logical sense for that game to be on outside of Burns influencing the decision.  Silverbridge were in the 2nd tier of football in Armagh(they gained promotion) and shane o'neills were relegated back to intermediate football.  I dare say there was more appealing games throughout Ireland on Sunday, there was in Armagh never mind the rest of ireland.

Could you do us a favour and send an email to TG4 and ask them why they chose that match. Make sure to ask if Burns had any say or influence in the decision. It would be good to know the truth
