+1.
D2 and D4 on Saturday at 4pm and 2pm.
D1 and D3 on Sundays.

The Sam and TC Round Robins had virtually zero promotion and overpriced tickets.
Davy's given us a dream to cling to
We're going to bring home the SAM

The Provincial club championship should be promoted better but with County finals still being played it doesn't take the spotlight.
2 Leinster club games last weekend.

Dublin won the All Ireland and had the final last weekend, but other counties should have it wrapped up a while. Tyrone final still to be played and they were knocked out early

Saffrongael

Slaughtneil won Derry hurling final on 17 September, that put them into Ulster final on 3 December  ??? It's like two different seasons
Let no-one say the best hurlers belong to the past. They are with us now, and better yet to come

Split split season?

That's ridiculous, all the talk of player welfare, except if you're successful. What's the hold up there btw? Down played last weekend, Antrim the week before. They could nearly play a home and away round robin amongst the three of them and still be finished before November is out.

Wexford hurling final was almost 6 weeks ago, they play out the hurling first and then the football rather than week about like in other dual counties...

Be interesting to see which system works best over an extended duration.

Milltown Row2

Slaughtniel will not be sitting about watching Netflix, they will be gearing up for an tough Ulster final and possibly preparing for an All Ireland semi final. they have just finished their football where many of that team will have been going hammer and tongs, so the rest, reset and build up wouldn't be doing them too much harm, great prep for a manager to have them all ready and raring to go.

None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea

It would be unfair on dual players to be in laying championship game's every week in 2 codes when opponents could be getting a weeks rest between games.

Eire90

wasnt there a county final in august somewhere

Laois Rising

Kerry hurling county final played start of August. None of teams involved impacted by the Kerry senior footballers and the county hurlers did not make it out of their Joe McDonagh group. It suits Kerry to have it played early and quickly so that the football club and county championship can run smoothly without disruption.

Kilkenny county football final played off by end of May most years. The advantages of not having an intercounty team.

But building a calendar around dual players is unfair on the vast majority of players who don't play both games.

Was a cracking game, some players on show but think Lynch and Aaron looked injured, NP doing enough and big Shane can puck a ball!!

They'll give Ballygunner their fill of it

Byrnes was a bit off too. It was a strange reffing performance- if lynch got a sniff off the ball (apart from the last patrickswell play) he got a free whereas Casey was permanently fouling the life out of Gillane and getting away with it.

Np are some team. David Dempsey has consistently been doing damage for years then you have Boylan, two Casey's and o'donoghue and Ronan lynch would walk onto most county teams about too.

I did think lynch was given a couple handy ones but his combative style draws frees, Gillane was for most parts physically held up, and that's some feat.

The ref was, at very least, 85 years old  ;D

Think they went for goal a bit early, coulda tagged on at least 3 points to possibly steal it at the end.

Best team won

imtommygunn

Yeah best team won and yes the ref maybe looked a bit older than the average ;D

Patrickswell just weren't good enough to win it really. Not convinced when it came down to it that the belief was there.
