Quote from: imtommygunn on October 18, 2023, 09:21:57 AMThat's the way the county game is too sure. Kerry and Dublin particularly in the semis didn't push the kickout until the last 15ish minutes then it just becomes a different game when they do.
Physically it's not possible to do that on a sustained basis, you have to pick your moments, usually after an attacking set play when your players are already mostly in position.
Probably helped that both teams had far superior benches to their opponents, so later in the game was going to yield more for them.

Or you can go with the revolutionary tactic of everyone marking their own man. My under 8's coaches were ahead of the curve with that one back in the day!

There's been some fine scores so far in the Dublin Senior Final.

Some mighty points on show in the Dublin county final. Maybe Derry Club football could learn to be less defensive and play more attacking football! Men with ability here, who not afraid to take the 60/70% shot. Judging by the crowd, club football in Dublin doesn't sell out.

Dublin club football seems a standard above most other counties club football, Hard to know who has the other strong championships, Derry and Donegal you couldn't watch it, Tyrone good, but a standard below Dublin. Kerry destroyed by Divisional teams, Galway maybe woukd have a strong championship.

Eire90

looks decent crowd to me for a club match

Did Cian O'Sullivan quit club football same time as he did county football?

Dare I say it but Kilmacud look better than last season. Mannion is back to full fitness and Walsh has settled in well. Craig Dias isn't even playing today which shows how strong a squad they have. Is he injured?
