There's money to be made. The Old fogeys Bands realise this. The Gallagher Brothers together can make more money from one gig than 20 gigs as solo artists.

Music events, especially the big stadium ones are complete rip-off's for what you get from them for the Big money you pay.

Just never liked the Brit pop scene and the attitude (manc hard men) of the brothers, just didn't add anything to them.
