I believe Horse hasn't been showing up to trainings half of the time either. They should ring their former player / current managerial mastermind Kyle Coney to stand in for the game

Trillick v Ardboe will be tight.  The 2 teams have great respect for each other, going back 50 years; and both teams have tradition.  Ardboe had an off day v E Ciaran last year, that won't happen again.  It'll be close, as usual.

If Ardboe are near Trillick in the end up fair play to them. They are absolutely nowhere next or near Trillick or the other big teams. Was said earlier in the year Ardboe are closer to an Intermediate title than a Senior and it is hard to argue with that.

Quote from: Carmen1932 on September 12, 2024, 02:04:26 PMMassive if true, few rumours going around that Malachy O'Rourke has requested the county board to get the home games to be played in Dungannon this year to accommodate Paul Donaghy. Wages issue has already been cleared up - this is the only thing holding the deal up, apparently.
Holding what deal up?

Definitely more to offer on the field of play than in a managerial capacity

Dungannon is a factory town for foreign factory workers. There is nothing attractive about it, or playing big GAA games there. Omagh is not exactly cosmopolitan either, both shit holes would be fair.

Was talking bout the grounds where the games are played... not inviting casual racist comments.

Why do some people look down their noses at factory work? Particularly food factory work? This is why factories are desperate for people and have to hire staff from abroad.

It's easier to say somewhere is a dive - the list will be long!

Be interesting to see what people regard as the opposite i.e. a nice town/area.

Quote from: Onthe40 on September 12, 2024, 09:56:01 AMDonaghmore had what 7 on the u20 all Ireland winning panel, something seriously wrong if they don't become contenders
Errigal had 6/7/8 county players on their starting 15 team for 5/6 years and only won 1 O'Neill cup.

Back then Errigal always had an eye on the Ulster Club and was the main goal. The Tyrone Championship was a stepping stone where the star players could be rested/managed before the big one.

Nowadays that mindset still lingers, but the Tyrone side of the equation is more front & centre, here & now.
