Hoping at least he has a Shaqiri type effect and at the most a Coutinho.

End of the day he will be 6th choice and costing the same as the sell on fee we got for Solanke. The only downside is that it means a deal for that wee toerag Gordon is obviously dead

Quote from: Gabriel_Hurl on August 27, 2024, 08:42:04 PMThe Georgian keeper is signed - https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/liverpool-agree-deal-sign-giorgi-mamardashvili

Federico Chiesa looks like he's one the way too - https://x.com/David_Ornstein/status/1828511624787022323

Mamardashvili bought but staying for a year with club.

Does that mean Kelleher is staying for another year?
Kelleher be there for another year, would think the Georgian is replacement for Allison though.

Chiesa has impressed me in the little saw of him but injuries be a concern.  I was similarly sceptical about the Coutinho transfer at the time, but again with the small fee it really is a shot to nothing.

Chiesa is only 26... I had him much older, great player but injuries would be the big concern I'd have thought

He's 27 in a couple of weeks.

Until he's 27, he's 26, that's a fact  ;D

I'll get back to you in a couple of weeks..... ;D

I thought you were starting something similiar to this famous interaction so I was playing along

He's 28 until he's 29

Why does he look like someone who's turned up to 5 a side in full kit?

CL group

Real Madrid (home), Leipzig (away), Bayer Leverkusen (home), AC Milan (away), Lille (home), PSV (away), Bologna (home) and Girona (away).

Capt Pat

It couldn't have been a much tougher draw. City got it much easier.

I read someone that technically based on coefficient points Man City's group is actually a tougher group.

Liverpool will come out of that handy enough. Anyway isn't it better to be playing the big teams in the Champions League than being in the Europa League.

I think we are all disappointed that it was only 3-0
