Anyone care to mention Maguires role in Bournemouth's opening goal? De gea again as well didn't cover himself in glory. Everything's good though!!

Maguire should have done better, but how does a keeper be beaten from that angle at his near post? It's ridiculous.

Joe Hart has made less mistakes than DDG, and he couldn't even get a game at Burnley.

Areas of field that need strengthening at United in order of importance.

Defence
Attack
Midfield
Goalkeeping

But we spend inordinate amount of time here worrying about the goalkeeping  :)

BennyCake

What needs addressing, in order of importance, is:

Goalkeeper

Defence
Midfield
Attack

De Gea has cost more points in the last few seasons than the defence. United would easily be top 4 only for him.

The more you say it the sillier you look

In defence of De Gea he's had a terrible set of defenders in front of him, doesn't help your confidence when teams are able to nutmeg 80 million pound defenders!

Which part isn't true?

Cunny Funt

United would be in the top 4 now and likely comfortably ahead of Leicester, Chelsea with a fit Pogba, Rashford, Martial for the majority of the season and had Bruno signed last summer instead of January 30th.

The defence are no where near as bad as you make out MMR especially in the current run of 16 games. DeGeas last good season was 2017-18, he was more overworked in games then but his errors was rare back then compared to now. United conceded just 28 goals that season and that was mainly due to the amount of MOTM performances DeGea produced.

Ah come on. Was that fumble v Watford any defenders fault? Or the Everton goal?

The bit where you say he's not a good goalkeeper and never has been...

From the Bunker

De Gea was a great goalkeeper. Only two seasons ago he was probably the best in the Europe with 18 clean sheets and no Errors leading to goals. Won the Golden Glove that year. Probably helped by Mourinho's style.

Keepers have bad days, shock horror. Your stats and the actual stats don't add up though

De Gea has had far far too many bad days. No keeper in the world would have got as many second chances as him.

How many errors leading to goals has he had in each of the last 2 seasons? He definitely is not as good as he used to be but no way he's as bad as your making out
