I see people bragging about voting multiple times for Israel.

Thanking people for their support, etc.

People can't have it both ways if it was a good song it deserves votes but it's a political football these days.

Did people love Ukraine entries all of sudden or is it a show of support in general...

I didn't watch a minute and all those against it should do the same.
them mysterons are always killing me but im grand after a few days.sickenin aul dose all the same.

Capt Pat

RTE has requested a breakdown in voting numbers from the ebu after Israel got 12 points from the Irish public vote.

It seems I was not the only one who was suspicious of the vote Israel got.

Quote from: Capt Pat on May 18, 2025, 12:18:50 AMI thought Israel were going to win it when Estonia fell short of their total by one point. The staging of that contest in Israel next year would have been fun.

Funny the UK getting zero points from the public again as well as Switzerland. I think Estonia won the popular vote.
More funny with the song called "What The Hell Just Happened?"

I got into the car just over a week ago and the radio show had the act on, discussing the song and how great it was.  Said they have a real chance lol

Doesn't make sense the vote Israel got from here. They literally zero bcking outside of loyalist clowns who dont know what irony is up North, and little support down south. Had be some sort of phone set up that votes multi times, the way ticket master tickets can be scoffed up.

Blowitupref

Israel song I thought was more than decent this year.  Ukraine song on the other hand that won it a few years ago was rubbish.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Of course the thing was rigged in advance, par for the course with Zionists, they don't do level playing field. Gonna watch the Louis Theraux episode, fully expect wall to wall low IQ slack jawed supremacists, cnuts

I've seen clips of the Louis T documentary.

Crazy stuff

Captain Scarlet

I see that on Spotify pre show their song was 19th in teens if Eurovision songs.
Similar down the pecking order on YouTube compared to other entries.

It wasn't popular on any other metric bar the dodgy system.

Mad Mentor

Saw an article on the RTE website explaining how the vote can be skewed. There is a relatively small number of people who will be bothered to vote at all, and of these a lot will only vote once. However, if a particular group have an interest, they can vote up to 20 times each. Thus a relatively small number of people who vote a lot of times can influence the overall vote. If 100 people vote, 99 only vote once but one person votes 20 times, they will have a big impact on the result. With so many options to vote for, second place only needed 14% of the votes.
