Ok folks looking for some help here.  I'm recording some data in years and months, eg Cell A1 7 years and 2 months, A2 8 years and 9 months.  In A3 I want to use a formula to calculate the difference.  What's my best way of doing this?  Some idea of how to use excel, but I'm no expert.

Is it literally written as "7 years and 2 months"?

I formatted the cell with 'custom' and then 00 "Year(s)," 00 "Month(s)"
This displays the data fine for me, but when I try to calculate the difference between the 2 cells, it isn't accurate.

Yes, invest in the insulation but why then put big holes in the wall for extractor fans etc.  I put the heat recovery in, and while it is working away quietly you may think it is doing little, but the house is pretty much airtight, fresh and warm.  I would recommend it.

Hi everyone, i'm looking for some help re joomla websites.  I want to put some short video clips online and make available for streaming.  They are currently in flv format but can be changed if necessary.  I have tried a couple of free plugins, but they dont seem to play.  Have any of you out there any experience of joomla CMS and video?  Any help would be appreciated.

Guys, i read here quite a lot but rarely post.  While i believe downjim is on a windup (and isnt from burren), i dont think others see it that way.  I dont think anybody would talk their own club up before a final, especially against their neighbours and especially after the disappointment of losing in Ulster.  Burren people are no different, they are a proud club and dont get involved in crap like that, they never have whether successful or otherwise.  Burren will get it very tight tomorrow, it will be much like a beaten county team playing in a qualifier in six days time, and we know how they often pan out!  Therefore i cant see any retirements being forced, might be some in burren though.  On another note, burren come in for quite a bit of stick re transfers, but is there any club in div 1 that hasnt accepted/lost a player(s)?

Add another column with the amount sold on each date.  Then highlight the dates and while holding the Ctrl key highlight the amount sold column.  You should then have two cell ranges highlighted.  Then look for your chart wizard icon or select Insert|chart and follow the guidelines.  Hope this helps

What does OWC represent?  I've seen it in numerous threads over a long period of time, just curious?

This sounds like a personal loathing of barton than anything else; why?  Whats the problem with him?  Re Burren, are they any different to the vast majority of div1 (and some div2) teams in down to get an outside manager? visit the tyrone and derry threads and you will find they are similar.  should be an interesting one.

A stroll in the park for the bridge, even without the sextons and Gavin Barry.  Bridge outplayed Rostrevor in every area of the pitch and had big performances from walsh and benny.  Sent out a message, still the team to beat!

the sort of boy Adrian McGuckin had in mind when he said he distrusted boys with 'dyed hair and trendy clothes that scored 2-5 in friendlies'."

Brolly has a short memory about boys attracting attention to themselves; does he not remember blowing kisses to the crowd when he scored the odd goal? a prat then and a prat now!  As for Mortimor being no good due to yer man having a good game on him, does this mean brolly was no good after paul higgins made acquaintances with him in celtic park in 94?
