Quote from: Truth hurts on Today at 02:45:21 PMCan you buy stand alone games on GAA +, like on Tyrone TV or Down TV, Just pay for 1 game?

There's an offer that you can buy 3 games for €24 and you can use them whenever you want or just pay €12 per game as you want.

Is there a list of the other games to be  shown on Gaago?  You could buy the 3 game  option, and your team might never feature  again
Could you not just watch other teams play then?

Ugh, that  feels like such a chore.

I honestly  find it difficult sitting through matches that I have no investment in, except  for maybe AI semis and finals.

Quote from: Cyril Farrell fan on April 21, 2025, 09:54:46 PMDid he promise more than he delivered? People thought he would be a reforming Pope when he took over.
Apart from not putting the boot in on gays, was there much else he changed?

I never  paid much attention to what he said , other than the usual "God loves us all, no matter  your lifestyle " sorta thing , but I  often thought he was just the smiley face  of a ... what's the word - crumbling?/ sinister?/corrupt?/dark?...   institution.

He probably did  improve the church's image in a way , but did the Vatican actually  change/address/compensate or  apologise for their  many actions , while he was there?

Quote from: flowerpot on April 21, 2025, 03:15:27 PMAt least when the ref blew the final whistle he made a motion signalling the end so no one was in any doubt. In Armagh Antrim game Antrim stopped when hooter sounded could be carnage in some matches the amount of air horns at games, another well thought out rule perfectly executed I'm sure in the words of the untouchable Eammon in the sandbox games.

Also, did  they think  about club games taking  place near  where a fog horn might sound?  Or a  ships horn?

They really  didn't think this through did they?

Seen highlights of Munster and Ulster semis. Alot  of times , no forwards near the goal mouth at all

Maybe they should bring in  2 pointers for  points nearer the goal,  rather than  50+ yards

Might bring the play  , and a bit of excitement, closer to the  goals, which  is what we want to see , is it not?

This current 2 pointer lark  is a huge backward step for the game.

Quote from: RedHand88 on April 21, 2025, 09:12:05 AMThe good news is that Ipswichs loss yesterday means United are safe from relegation for another season.

Yes, but  theres a real possibility they could finish 17th.

Quote from: David McKeown on April 20, 2025, 10:50:45 PMI know there's a speed of sound issue there but it sounds like the sideline was kicked before the hooter went. Very tight

Sorry wrong thread

Looked like  a backroom team member got in  his way when about to kick.

I thought it was one  of Donegal's, but it was his own!

Quote from: Wildweasel74 on April 19, 2025, 05:06:42 PMI still to see where the skill is, in kicking the ball long out the field, 15 men competing  for it. Where's the skill?

You don't see the skill in clean catching or winning breaking ball??

If you're keeper and your team are prepared and skilful enough you can work kickouts to retain possession like Donegal and Dublin do.

I'd have an alternative view to yours in that the new rules are showing up where skills are lacking!

You just want to go back to catch and kick?

And them all wearing flat hats.

Don't forget the fags  in their mouths  ;D

Quote from: Wildweasel74 on April 18, 2025, 08:21:07 PMNay, I lived here all my life, know the score with people outside of Sinn Fein and Dup voters. Anybody thinking they win a border poll [which i would vote for] living in dreamland. Make a mess of the first one. You wouldn't see another for 20 years.

I think it's going to be closer than you would think. The biggest pro UK argument is the NHS. I can only assume these people haven't been ill in years. The NHS is completely stuffed and anyone with any sense knows this.

So, what are  the pro-UK arguments then?
