Quote from: jcpen on January 08, 2024, 05:39:09 PMDon't think it's anyone's business how much money he needs,he made his decision for his own and his family needs.
Couldn't care less myself about all the LGTPQRSTLP+-+ stuff, there are a million causes in the world not sure why this is suddenly the most important one.

That's nice for you that you don't care about LGBTQ stuff. And who is saying it's the most important?

But I'm sure there are issues that you DO care about. Would you care about a public advocate turning his back on those for a bit of extra cash?

Let's say it was a player who campaigned against racism. Would you be accusing people of "faux outrage" if they did not like it when that player turned around and went to work in a country with an apartheid system or the like?

Family comes first, just because he went doesn't mean he doesn't care about whatever cause he was advocate for.
Faux outrage like I said.

I disagree.

He had plenty of options where he could have earned a very large salary which would not have required him to compromise his advocacy.

He wasn't faced with an alternative of joining Finn Harps.

Agree with this. He made a big mistake, on different grounds.  In terms of selling out on his beliefs, it looks now like he was just coming out with his views at that time because it was seen as the popular thing to say.
That's just, like your opinion man.

Disappointing.  Adds to a very long list of absentees. Something like 10 now.  Need to start getting a few back.  What's the story with Bajectic and Thiago?  Coming up on a year now! Robinson expected back at end of this month.

Thiago and Bajcetic are expected back in full training next month. Hopefully have them for the run in, but you can count on Thiago at this stage. Absolute class player, but cannot stay fit for any extended period.

Was reading about him recently where he said the no-look passes where f**king up his hips and he'd end up with problems later in life.

The Aghyaran Cafu.

He had a fine game Sunday evening. Put an end to Martinelli's runs fairly swiftly.

You can't be calling an aghyaran man a derg man. You will cause an international incident

Capt Pat

Liverpool got out of jail tonight against Fulham. A deflected shot from Jones flew in the net followed a short time later by a finish from Gakpo to put Liverpool 2-1 ahead. Up until then trailing to a Willian goal Liverpool could have gone further behind.

2-1 lead to take to the second leg. First half was pretty much awful but came good in the end. Bradley had a great game.

Darwin changed the game when he came on. Couldn't have done much more with his chances. Great save by Leno. He needs one to fly in off his arse to break this goalless streak.
