Scenes at Goodison. They've won the Avoided Relegation Cup again. Get the fireworks going.
Lucky there was 3 worse teams than them. Least there will be a Merseyside derby still, would miss those.

Why are there matches on so early on a Monday? Just home from work and I see Everton Brighton about to start and Fulham and Leicester have already played.

United only need 9 points from 6 games to guarantee CL. And they'll only need that many if Liverpool win all their remaining games, which won't happen (nor will Brighton win all theirs), so highly unlikely United won't make it.

Actually 9 points from 5 games now, but still
9 from 4 now.

Wish we were playing good enough that they actually need 9. But they'll probably make it with less.

Whos taking points off Liverpool?

16th place Leicester?
Villa at Anfield?
Southampton who will be relegated by this stage?

United will likely need to win 3 out of the last 4 to get champions league football.
I could see us dropping points in any of those games!
4th is still a long shot, unfortunately we are running out of games. Maybe if there was 6 or 7 games left but we've left it too late imo.

What sort of small minded mentality must they have to worship billionaires who look down on them from priceless golden thrones while people are starving on the streets? I'll honestly never get it.

It boggles the mind alright.
Nearly as bad as there being a 21 page thread about them on the gaaboard...
The people of Laois still mourning their Queen?
It's the Biffos turn now...

Was almost a carbon copy of the Fulham game, scored early but were pretty poor from then on.
Unfortunately we left it far too late in putting a run of games together, so many silly dropped points earlier in the season.
Europa League Final is in Dublin next season though so every cloud eh 😂

It was dick behaviour tbh....
Ah sure it wasn't great indeed but harmless enough also, he got booked and pulled his hammer so justice done I suppose  ;D

It's Klopp and Liverpool though so the faux outrage will be more than usual.
Trailer will have had to delete his Loserpool comment that he was about to press post on after Spurs made it 3-3 and Captain Obvious will have had to delete his stat about teams losing 3 goal leads, so at least they will have Klopp now to get worked up over!

Think he was upset about the ludicrous free against Salah down the Liverpool right just before the Spurs free that led to the goal.

But yeah, he should have been carded.
He was.

General discussion / Re: Favourite Pub in Ireland

There's a small little pub on Fleet St in Dublin called Bowes that I like to go to sometimes,no loud music banging over speakers, a bit of an old man's pub if you know what I mean, and a great pint of Guinness. A pub you could just go it to on your own and not be bothered.

If you like pubs like Sean's Bar and Johnny Foxes then Morriseys in Abbeyleix is of a similar nature and pretty well known.

Decent win that, rode our luck at times but a good 3 points.
Hopefully our good mates Man United and Everton can do us some favours tomorrow night.

Spurs win not the better option?
Maybe, I thought Man United were further ahead actually though I think they will get top 4 regardless. I see Newcastle and Spurs as the main rivals for 4th spot even if it's a bit of a stretch for Liverpool at this stage.
