On re run, there little in it to be honest, arm on the outside counted against him, soft enough.

G lads, it was a hold, still can't work out how the hit in the 2nd Half which lead to a run on was deemed incomplete. Still can't work out that call, lad clearly received it under control before it wax knocked out.
I was confused myself but looking into it he has to take 3 steps before you can get a tackle fumble

American football (and soccer, rugby and gaa too) would be better served with a 3 quacks judgement rather than trying to define the impossible. ie if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and smells like a duck, let's call it a duck.

Officials aside that was an outrageously brilliant few hours of sport. Philly looked like they could score at will for the most part, but it still wasn't enough.

Seen another view of the late flag, and the lad was getting his Jersey pulled.

Great game but awful finish. Shame for it to be decided on such a tight call by officials. A tiny little tug that you get away with 9 times out of 10, but can't really complain when you don't.
Nonsense finish after that with the lad refusing to score the TD (and go down in history as the scorer of a Super Bowl winning TD) because his coaches tell him to stop at the 1 yard line so they can run the clock down. Something wrong with the rules when that's the sensible option.

I thought it was genius. Imagine having the courage to put the team ahead of your own selfish ambitions and not going over the line for a memorable TD in a classic superbowl. Had he gone over Eagles would have had nearly 2 minutes to drive down the field which they would have been more than capable of doing so

How would it have looked if the eagles marched back down the field and scored again in the time that would have been left? The year the Seahawks lost to Brady, they made an incredible comeback against the Packers in the NFC championship and ended up scoring too early. Rodgers matched down the field and they got a FG to send it to overtime.

Because of the set play and possession nature of the game, clock management is a crucial aspect of the sport. Always will be. One of the most incredible things about NFL head coaches is just how bad some of them are at it and how they're allowed get away with being that bad.

In the 12/13 Giants win over the Patriots, the Giants running back literally fell over the line and scored when trying to stop himself short for a first down with a minute left when the defense let him run in unopposed. Brady and the Patriots got the ball back with a minute to use, but fortunately for the Giants their defense held on instead of the team comfortably running down the clock and scoring an easy last second field goal.

So it's not an unprecedented situation.

There was a game a couple seasons ago where Todd Gurley did score when he was told not to in this scenario and ended up losing the Falcons the game to the Lions (who had no timeouts remaining).

Some didn't take that defeat too well..

Fairly sure that was a setup video. There was a yellow sticker still attached to the lower left of the screen and the TV had brackets on the back but wasn't attached to the wall.

It looks like Aaron Rodgers is on his way to the jets. Compensation for the packers is yet to be decided.

Based on last season, this is win win for Green Bay, and another bout of madness from NYJ
