We now have the orange anti human piece of sh1te going full Nazi "resettlenent" at the behest of the War Criminal GroßIsrael cnt.
They've made Gaza almost uninhabitable and are now starting on the West Bank.

Their"war on Hamas" didn't exactly work out when you see their men armed to tge teeth at the hostage handovers etc.

100%

Hamas retreated to their underground bunkers and used the civilian population of Gaza as human shields

Justifying genocide again....  "If you think the enemy soldier is in that town, kill everyone"... similar to Willie McCrea's proposal to air bomb west Belfast, Crossmaglen etc... ure bound to hit IRA volunteers as well.

I'm not justifying anything

Going in to this EVERYONE (with 2 brain cells to rub together) knew what the Israeli response would be.

I don't know anyone who has said the attacks on October 7th were ever going to end well, in the end. Not one person on here I don't think has disputed that. Maybe just maybe the Hamas view was take loads of hostages raise awareness and after a lot of bluster we can negotiate with Israel return hostages and get some back in return.

Your points Whitey are valid though on the outcome, it was going to be bad, but what a mostly everyone with a free thinking mind has said that the geocide that has followed is beyond anyone with half a brains comprehension.

Hamas and their predecessors have carried out multiple attacks over the 75 odd years, the response now from Israel is just barbaric

Are you familiar with the death of Rachel Corrie who got run over by an Israeli military bulldozer?

I read up about it at the time and the default response by the Israeli military to a "terrorist" attack is to demolish the home of the families of those identified as being involved

I'm not (and I don't know how anyone could) justifying the Israeli response. I'm saying that it's almost 100% certainty that this will be the response.

Militarily Hamas/Hezbollah cannot defeat Israel. Everyone knows that.

So if you can't defeat an enemy militarily , why would you want to start an all out war with them?

And yet your posts on this focus only on Oct 7. You try and keep the focus there and away from what has happened both before and after. That to me speaks volumes.

Well there was a real good likelihood of Peace in the early 2000s but Hamas decided it wanted conflict

Hardline Israelis assassinated their own pm when he was going to give some concessions to Palestine in the 90's?

Solo and Go has basically taken away a free kick Being kicked forward. Don't think there was one non scoreable free kick kicked in Tyrone v Derry.

Quote from: Truth hurts on January 20, 2025, 02:29:39 PMDerry GAA were given permission at Saturday's Central Council meeting to lease their Centre of Excellence facilities at Owenbeg to Derry City FC on a temporary basis while the League of Ireland side completes development work over the next two years.

What are your thoughts on this? I believe soccer clubs will start going after GAA grounds in towns and villages in Ireland ?

Take the tinfoil hat off

Would there have been any years where Munster cleaned up in both hurling and football?

Quote from: Captain Scarlet on January 13, 2025, 11:38:42 AMLads a week off is plenty if their S&C has any focus on the C. That includes resting and managing it.
I think that in the GAA we over-egg this 2 games in a week when the managers had them training and slogging 5+ days a week for years.

It'll be a good game hopefully, but I fancy Cuala. V Naas the focus was on CON and his briother stepped up. Plus they have some great lads around half-back and half-forward that will fly on the good ground in Croker.

Not saying EC are slouches btw! Just there are some lads I would not have been familiar with who can really run. On the flip EC have two amazing talents that can destroy teams and Cuala only have 1 Mick Fitz to mind them.

Cuala's speed on the break was impressive against strandhill.

Quote from: Gold on January 11, 2025, 09:18:17 PMSome game and win for Errigal.

No skin in the game and have a strong dislike of Tyrone

Haven't read back for other views but f**k me that ref gave some of the most bizarre frees against Errigal. There were laughable dives given as free ins and an overcarry on an EC player who was pushed in the back and had possession for 1 step max....literally BIZARRE

Canavans.....f**k ME......GLORIOUS to watch

That boy Oguz either does the ridiculous or the sublime

Crokes had no pattern and were disappointing and lucky not to be beat by 10 (and may have been but for the ref acting bizarrely). Disappointing from them and how could the Gooch at 41 not be fit to play there for at least extra time. His ball winning and composure would've won it

Was the gooch even on the panel? I thought he was retired for last 3-4 years

They could be back in it yet

Quote from: marty34 on January 10, 2025, 12:52:49 PMKids get to grammar schools as they're bright and gifted.

I always thought being a grammar school teacher would be easy as the kids are bright and for the most part, well mannered etc.

They kids are going to get A and B's etc. regardless of who their teachers are.

I think a pupil getting an A say, is a great result for the teacher in a 'normal' school. Exceptions to this always but that's my take on it.

There are plenty of dunces/ bastards in grammar schools.

Quote from: giveherlong on December 28, 2024, 10:21:59 AMWhat's the process of getting/applying for a PPS number if living in North and working in South?

It has been a bit of a while since I done it but I think that you need an address in the south and a bank account in the south.
