John Snow on Channel 4 wasn't to happy about the news blackout.
As he compared it to China and The Soviet Union, he said "if we can hide this, what other news can they black out".
The only reporter to really have a go at the blackout. Go on Mr. Snow..........

Just watched the Murray family on TV and my heart goes out to them.
May Nicola rest in peace.

I read the other day that they are doing a full stage show of the "The Tractor Show" at the Grand Opera House in June.
Might be worth going to for a good laugh.

And when Charlie Haughey appeared they had no seat for him, and he says "sure i'm always looking for seats"
That 25th show was the best ever Late Late. Still have the VHS tape, but havn't watched it in a while.
Best of luck to Ronnie Drew, and get well soon.

Donagh, when in Cusco make sure you both head to "The Fallen Angel" restaurant.
Fantastic place with incredible art. Plus, the best steak in town.
Mama Africas in the square is a mad bar that is filled every night!
No worries about booking the trek while there.
The altitude will be tough to start with, but you will survive......
Have a blast

It was a fantastic event, and very well managed. It had a larger television audience than the Ryder Cup, and showcased some of our fantastic drivers, organisation, and of course, our beautiful scenery.
Well done to all involved, and next year, sure it can be number 1..................

GAA Discussion / Re: Princess Anne for Croke Park

To say that you couldn't care less if the Queen herself was in Croke Park Stephenite, is just a perfect example of how people have sold out our basic principles.
No doubt if you were around during the famine, you would probably have been on the streets of Dublin waving your union jack like the rest of them when Victoria visited?
You could have helped to count the £5 donation she made to the famine relief.
The association is in good hands with people like yourself who want to see the royal family spit on the graves of the founders of the GAA.
Next you will probably want Irelands Call played at GAA matches.
