Should the GAA not be closed from Holy Thursday to Easter Sunday?

I recall when easter Sunday used to host league semi finals back in late 80s early 90s. It may have just been  acoincidence the dates fell that way though.

underage club yes, rest no.

Tradition in Derry for years was to play hurling féile Easter Sunday morning, if anyone knows Derry city you will know our obsession with caravans and Donegal. We always had at least 5 lads out Easter Sunday, country teams didnt seen to take Easter hols. Bit much asking seniors even to be rocking boat at home for a game if you have young wains. I always refused to play Easter Sunday because of the family(and i was afraid of the mrs)
