I see that this debate has been here on this thread since 2018 and we are no nearer a consensus.
I agree with the poster who thinks back passes should be outlawed as this would surely promote a watchable game where the opposition will have a decent chance of retrieving the ball.
I fail to understand how people find the new hurling more watchable than gaelic football with all it's faults.   Frees at least every minute and this excludes a hell of a lot more undetectable fouls, like throwing, arm holding etc etc.  and the majority of scores with such a small ball are from frees and most likely unseen until the umpire raises a flag.   I mourn the day when players could pull on the sliotar on the ground and in the air, and there were no rucks or scrums.   
Having said that, I switched off the recent Derry game as I simply didn't find that stuff remotely entertaining and I'm not from Ulster.

Just lazy on hurling and frees.. 7 frees and 8 frees from both teams on Sunday, which makes your post look a bit silly.. but carry on

You'd think Páirc Uí Chaoimh in Cork would have it, with it being the most modern stadium.

He did the Munster Semi final between Kerry and Cork and for whatever reason was almost completely colour blind that day.    I think it's possible to find on Youtube  what Anthony Moyles of Meath said about him on OTB panel interview.     Brave man Moyles and ASAIK he wasn't censored by Croke Park for his forthright comments.

Horan is and always will be a great manager. The failing with Horan over both his tenures in charge was his trying lads in the league and then come championship reverting to the old reliables. Many's the player had a great league and for some reason or other were never chanced in the championship.

My hope for Saturday is that we end up by default, due to injuries  "finding" a team. Orme (a fine player) and the rest of the young lads might become something we are looking for and surprise everyone including Horan.

It's die dog or shite the licence time for us on Saturday, after 10 minutes we will know if our young lads are up for it.

Horan is no doubt a good coach but to be considered a great I think he needs to win the big one.

Did Cork beat Mayo in a recent challenge?   this story is doing the rounds.   Anybody verify this ?
