Mayo's best forward is Lee Keegan..

4-28 in 33 Championship games is some going from wing back.

Cillian has 17-184 in 34 games? He scored 6-22 with a dodgy shoulder in 2013! It would be frightening to think what he would score if he was a Marquee forward?

Gael85

COC has 17-183 in 35 Championship games.

where did u get your data? Mine was from the ever unreliable Wiki. Anyway what's a game here or a score there? Both sets of data give generally the same(ish) results?

The difference between winning last year's AI and not, actually.

I use newspaper archives. I have all the Dublin player/league championship stats. Trying to do the rest of the other counties.

Probably 2/3 of the goals and 1/4 of the points. As I said he'd be dangerous if he was a Marquee forward.

Enough of that nonsense - Ros team announced
O'Malley
Murray Mullooly Seánie
Gary Patterson Harney Paddy Brogan
Tadhg O'Rourke C Shine
2 Smiths 2 Murtaghs Andrew Glennon and Shane Killoran.
Best of luck boys - normally we'd be expected to win this handy.
However with budget cutbacks and training only underway recently we could run out of steam in the last quarter.
Davy's given us a dream to cling to
We're going to bring home the SAM

Thought the Smiths were playing for DCU tomorrow?

Rossfan

They were named in the announced team anyway.
We'll see what transpires tomorrow.

Both Smiths, Tadgh O'Rourke and Harney are all on DCU team but all are named to start tomorrow. Probably felt they would get a better game in Boyle than playing Dublin C team in Parnell park.

O'Connor scored 9 points from play in 9 Championship games last year.

He was held scoreless in 5 of those games.

I'd imagine the game being in Boyle would have something to do with the Smiths playing for Ros.
