McGeeney record as a manager is pretty horrible when setting aside the AI. For 5 years they never won a championship match, have been relegated multiple times, never won an ulster and he was badly found out when he sat and watched Kerry destroy their kick outs without changing anything.

Given Armagh's record in the youth competitions, McGeeney hasn't exactly had an overwhelming amount of talent to work with.  I'd say he's done extremely well developing the talent he has into a consistent contender.

But you dont always need success at underage to be successful at senior. All you need is a couple of players each year to bolster the squad.

Derry county board and this senior job has become a bit of a drama this past few years.

Fpr the grown men in the thread, be interesting to see who is lined up. I'd definitely have kept Tally on for a 2nd year. But has been said,Tally was arranging his backroom team for next season....

I've no issue with any commentators tbh, be it on BBC,GAA+, rte etc..turn on the game and just watch without giving whoever is calling a particular game a 2nd thought,maybe on my own

I thoroughly enjoy him. Great craic and has a good knowledge of the game.

In response to a comment above on Paddy Andrews. He does have a an awful bad habit of cutting across people but unlike Brolly I think it's a subconscious thing for him.

Devenny is a top man, great craic and knows the game inside out. Has done a couple nights at our club over the years, couldn't get better.

Are there decent hurling podcasts as the GAA social is definitely miss titled

They've covered and interviewed multiple hurling legends, ladies footballers etc, would the "GAA Social (but we're predominantly a men's football podcast, as we're both northern men and men's county football is by a distance the most watched GAA sport and the sport we mostly cover live)" be a better title? Doesn't trip off the tongue though... Any suggestions? The Contrarian Pucker might be a runner?

Following on from my depressing post last night, weeks have passed since a few politicians in Westminster had the balls to stand up and call out this evil genocide.
