We're Gibbons and Cafferky not already on panel?
Irwin could be a star yet, heard he's fond of the sauce but always impressed underage and destroyed us minor in 2013 with one the best goals iv ever witnessed. Two dummy solos and rattled the top of the net

Surprised Keith Ruttledge is not included.

Gibbions and Caff were injured last year so were not on the panel. The player I would be most interested in would be Fergal Boland.I think he has great potential and has always impressed me when I have seen him in action.Has great awareness and always seems to take the right option. He would have to bulk up so his time could be a year or 2 away yet.

Nobody laughing Sy. it's always Roscommon's year here.

Not like you syf to be so openly confident. Be great for Roscommon to win a connacht title beating Mayo in castlebar in the final but we have a lot of obstacles to get over to get there in fairness. Galway are full sure they have the measure of Mayo now , sice as good as said it lately. Would galway v ross final be in salthill , as in did the replay in castlebar count as home venue for ros last year?
Walk-in down mchale rd , sun out, summers day , game day . That's all .

Yeah, would have thought himself and Naughton would be worth a look

What position does Gareth O'Donnell play?

For once, he might well be right. I thought Roscommon didn't show their true form in the Connacht final. The subsequent dust up and the resignation of Fergie may well account for the disarray in the camp.
I
(It's truly ironic that poor Syf spends so much of his time squatting on Mayo threads and pointing out our management mistakes, while Ross should be in the Guinness  Book of Records when it comes to shafting managers.) ;D
I think Galway played above themselves in the final whereas Ross just weren't at the races that day. I can't really see Mayo being beaten on Connacht if the can reproduce the form they should in both games against Dublin. But they'd need to be a lot better than they were in the game against Galway if they are to beat the Rossies.

Is Neil Douglas not a better scoring option than the current handpassers in the Mayo forwards?

Better option than who? Douglas is now 27! Not to late I know. But he is around the same age as Lee Keegan, Doherty and Aido.

Here's a article early in 2016 that sheds some light on his situation.

the forwards that can't score . Take out frees. Mayo forwards average less than 2 points per match. Would Douglas not add more than AOS?
