I hear wee paddy McGuigan has been recruited to plan the ambush at the lough shore by the murtin on the tones.... Hope he doesn't walk out on them before the end of the season he has form for that!

no truth whatsoever, and he may have his own reasons etc. for not finishing jobs for the full season.

Handy enough win for Errigal last night. Pulled away well in the second half. Anybody know what happened the moortown lad who was injured at half time?

yh pulled away as expected in the final third, still dont think there up there with the top teams though.he got concussed reportedly, had to spend the night over in hospital i heard
no real hammerings in any of the senior games, which was a good thing. well dromore could still..

Afterwards. Another greedy derry mercenary.

i think maybe a bit much is expected when these weaker teams employ some of these managers, some team just dont have the players, simple as that!

regaridng this w/e championship.. derrylaughan-edendork looks a close one on paper, and will be. Fancy derrylaughan to scrape through by a few points. could be a good game.
if moortown dont perform, this could really be a 7-10 point affair.errigal haven't won a c'ship game in 4years & will be highly fancyung themselves here. too many good players on show for moortown & think they'l struggle.
sundays games think cookstown & clonoe should prevail over both augher & omagh. i expect the 1st halves to be even and then both teams pulling away in the final third.
dromore by 7-8 points..simple..enough said!

some big shocks at the bottom of D1 yesterday, edendork still motoring away and greencastle and kildress pickingup first wins, Moortown and trillick in real trouble! coalisland as usual standout performers, hearing they have an excellent squad this year and are there to do the business.

was up at the omagh-moortown game yesterday, what a day for football btw. but just wondering to any omagh fans, do you not expect a bit more from the mcMahons, i was very disapointed with them yesterday, i know both are carrying knocks, always might i add. but joe in particular was anoymous, what do you omagh people think? young clarke got a bit of a toasting at full back by big devlin i thought. but Grugan was head and shoulders best player on view i thought, great talent.

The big Loughshore derby being the outstanding fixture and even moved to a saturday now. if im told right, this would be Michael Hagans return to Moortown after his infamous transfer to ardboe, with him being an ex moortown captain, and apparently playing some stuff in the orange & blue, what kinda reception can we expect for him?dont think he'll be getting too many flowers or cards anyway.

not a derrytresk fan but am a tyrone man all the same, with several points to make. first of, congrats to the hill, marvellous achievement hope you's go all the way.
regarding the brawl..it was started by the dromid cornerback and one of the derrytresk management going at it, and hence subs jumped in and caused the chaos. this should never have happened so derrytresk will have to take some blame here unfortunatly and some sanctions im sure will be handed down. although stewarding and policing of o'moore park was very poor im afraid to say, big questions to be asked there.and no kerry people have an answer to the fact it was dromid who ended up with 114 men and numerous yellow cards. In response to the phone ins on rte, etc. im never heard as many twisted stories and exaggerated tales from such sore losers. one being " the physio who was a woman was kicked several times on the head" what? im pretty sure i didnt see that! Also the talk of northern,british,tyrone..etc. football. calling it thuggery, and they should just stay up there sort of thing, disgraceful behaviour from kerry people, thought they'd be better than sore losers! yes o'sullivan got a tough time of it, but what was he expecting, that they just let him play football? im sure he's got similar treatment every game for them. then there was after the game, i dont think there was any call for the goading of o'sullivan after, the game was won. im sure people who did some things after (handbag) will be looked into it! so again kerry cant handle tyrone, really hoping we play some time this year. and lastly hopefully all goes well with derrytresk for the next 3weeks, please may they get to play in the final, amid complaints from the southeners. All the best Derrytresk

radda bout yee... from the rumours ive heard, he has joined ardboe supposedly, not sure on the other players but thats the talk. if he sorts the head out hes a fine player and could add a wee bit to an ardboe forward line . Moortown-Ardboe derby will be very interesting if a)he has joined ardboe b) he starts against them. Plus i believe the fixture is in moortown this year, so im sure he'll get heated reception.

heard the same rumours as most here bar a few. Pascal Canavan to Moortown?never heard that one, could be interesting!though they got rid of their manager with a few games left to play, so whoever took over then, as they kept them up,should get the job if they want it? what bout edendork, eglish, anyone?
cookstown got john mckeever from portglenone, no idea what he's like

i know theres players not including due to their obvious ability, etc. But have to agree that some clubs dont get a hot. didnt see a lot of kildress but from the players named there definitly worth a trial as are several players from the likes of Moortown and eglish, who have no players named?

play-off game, i would probably hav 2 go against my original prediction, and maybe just go for gortin considering the momentum they'l have built up, bit like the back door teams playing provincial winners.. would be a great achievement for gortin.better than janet devlin! lol

dromore-ballinderry.. great game i thought, dromore just unlucky in the end, well done to ballinderry

tyrone- was glad to see the ryan mcMenamin of old( the player you love to hate) winding up players.etc..  i know theres no place in the game some might say. but i feel tyrone have come a bit too nice over the last few seasons, and having them 'ricey' characters is what we've been missing to be honest, anyone share this..people like ricey, gormley, mickey mcGee davy harte. as wel as the fact these players are/were fantastic players, they'd cut your throat to win (as the quote goes!!), as well as being physically below par compared to the dubs.

gortin 1-11 galbally 1-6

brocagh 0-10 drumragh 2-2

bit of a shock with gortin condemning galbally to another year in division 2. gortin only got into playoffs once us and loughmacrory were beat in championship semis. now that they have 2 good wins under their belt since moortown last played you would have to fancy gortin to beat them now.

yh surprised they came throught that as handy, thought there could've been a upset, but no that much.. id still fancy moortown to come through that though. where would that game be played anyone? kildress, same as todays venue?
