Was told there that as many as 8 reserves games won’t be played this Friday due to a lack of referees available

Some interesting results tonight:
Greencastle return to Senior going well with big win over Moortown (Think they celebrated too long after beating Ardboe... was a mini champo session I believe)
Owen Roes go to Pomeroy and turn them over

Also on another note what is up with 2 senior teams not being able to field a reserve team so early in the year???

Moy and derrylaughan notorious for not fielding reserves. The thinking round our club was moy we’re at home so they would field reserves, unfortunately not the case. Disappointing as 20+ lads left with no football

Be a short club season this year

17 x weeks left!

It'll still run till October.

We played errigal Saturday before Christmas, we’ll finish two months earlier if all goes to plan

We beat errigal well at home, wouldn’t read much into it think they only had three starters from last year on. Must be a nightmare for management with 8 men away with the county.

In terms of senior division, errigal (7) possibly 8 of younger canavan gets called up, dromore (4) and Carrickmore (4) are the teams most effected by star games
Trillick also 4
Who are the 7 errigal men ?

Darragh McAnenley, Niall Kelly, Peter Harte, Joe Oguz, Ben McDonnell, Darragh Canavan but not sure who the 7th is….

Was told cormac quinn has joined the panel. Young corner back previously captained Tyrone u20s

The whole thing makes a joke of the gaa, greencastles appeal was thrown out by Tyrone, ulster and croke park already before the case took place

Teamtalk report that Greencastle have won their appeal and will play in Divison 1.
Are we allowed to play suspended players now?

Staggering that

Be interesting to hear the reasoning of the DRA decision, was it a technicality or lack of evidence or what...?

Again just from talking to other ones so this not confirmed, apparently kildress never had permission to record the game so the evidence was thrown out and without that video there was no case

Wouldn’t be surprised if stewartstown walk it, very strong. Breezed past ulster league

Surely a few men bound to be thinking it’s time to pack it in? No game time for a lot of men so far and next few games are must win so they probably won’t get game time.

SportJoe GAA released a post about greencastle referring to the incident. They stated they have been deducted 2 points (for the kildress game for they are only team with concrete evidence he actually played) and the league had now been given to Aghyaran. Link to article below 👇
