Yeah, not Tyrone GAA's fault. They've set good date for start of league.

Club managers get lads out too early, for their own benefit. Lads are then fed up - burnt out.

Ulster GAA shouldn't start their league until 1 month later.  That might help.

If the Ulster league started a month later then it would struggle to get teams to enter as every county start much earlier than Tyrone.

Nearly every county will have started at least 4 weeks before Tyrone. Antrim have 3 games already played and Armagh starts this weekend. Derry & down in 2 weeks time

The big difficulty for Tyrone teams going forward for the next 6 weeks is that they will find it very difficult to get friendly games from early April onwards as every other county will have started or are due to start.

Could Ulster Council not say, due to split seasons that all leagues can't start to a certain date?

But teams can play in Ulster League, which starts on a certain date.

No game time for McShane again today
Is he injured or has just out of form?
McGleenan did ok when he came in.
Not a great League campaign for McGeary
Gallen was ok today

You expect the Ulster Council to arrange their league to suit Tyrone teams and the Tyrone schedule. Some other counties are dual counties and that is one of the reasons they start earlier plus their clubs are prepared to play without county men whereas Tyrone clubs aren’t.

Has anyone used the archive dropdown in fixtures/results on tyronegaa.ie? Alot of competitions appear to be missing in mens football.
For example in 2022, i cant find any mens adult leagues or boys underage football? However all ladies categories seem to be viewable.
A quick review of other years and would appear to be the same issue.

The game will have been an eye opener for the newer lads as it was closer to championship pace than the earlier rounds.

Get off the club thread!!!!  ;D
