how do people know they are getting better quality if they pay 100 pound for pure dealer could just say its pure when  its the same as the cheaper bags just seems like a way for dealers to scam to me.

I'd say it would be very bad business if you sell something that doesn't hit the mark, you wouldn't be in business to long selling crap. I know they are low life's but they ain't stupid
Police up here tend to claim that Coke sold in NI is around 7% pure with a high of about 15-20% which they claimed was the usual for England.  Last expert I used said that's bullshit and anything less than 20% pure would be considered shite over here with about 35% being the norm.  They reckoned about 80% pure was the norm in England
So they exaggerate the value whenever they get a bust but minimise the purity?

What they do is say the average purity is 7% and would cost x. This is much higher purity eg 40% which is evidence of intent to cut and try to increase value.

As its so pervasive how many people on here do cocaine on a regular or even one off basis ?

The more likely this becomes the more I'm thinking the GAA needs a bloody big "pre nup" as part of the merger.

Let's call a spade a spade. This would not be a partnership of equals. One organisation brings all the grounds and premises, the long-standing  tradition of volunteerism, the sponsorship, the media, the political influence, and the majority of players. The other organisations bring a minority of players.

The current hierarchy whereby men's football and hurling are pegged above their female counterparts in terms of importance is owed most significantly to the ownership of grounds. Currently one sport can call the tune ahead of the others. The other sports then set their schedules in and around what's left.

For everyone's sanity it has to stay that way. When the availability of facilities cannot keep up with demand, absolutely no good can come from an equal balance of power.

Equality yes. Egalitarianism, no. That's not going to work.
thet should of course be free to join as 100% menbers but before signing up they should sake the Government down for pitches and funding s least at the level of Rugby/
I only know 2 'lsdird' pitches both in offaly one for county teans and one for Tullamore

I've no interest at all in the GAA growing globally. I would like its entire focus to be in Ireland.

Am I alone in thinking this?

This isn't a sports grant, at least not officially. The controversy seems to be that the NY county board sold the place in 1991 so we are handing 500k over to a private college. Looks like bar facilities rather than a stand.

There will be war if the capital grants are cut but there is money for this
I think the GAA is fairly flluirseach.
Covid was hard but last year there was a return to business as usual
https://www.gaa.ie/news/gaa-report-healthy-financial-year/
€24.1m went on Capital Grants

Just for reference, FAI income would be around 42m.
Diidnt the soccer crowd get a special once off present of 38 million and are looking for 2.5 Millions more
so you know the figures income for GAA and Rugby

Limerick management gone.
https://www.rte.ie/sport/football/2023/0310/1361455-dempsey-quits-limerick-hotseat-after-just-five-games/

Probably makes no difference.
Not very surprising

Still who would have thought the Lmerick manager would have to resign in the week fter drawing with once mighy meath.

David Moran has retired.
His display in Limerick in 14 v Mayo was awsome.
Rare thing to say about a Kerry player but I almost think he was underrated. Brilliant player.

no one in Mayo underrated him Top Class midfielder
