The rest of the team performed admirably in a good world cup finals campaign
Roy stated years later it was a big regret of his

More fool him

The calls to name Roy as Ireland manager are ludicrous, and in general sum up this knee-jerk reaction the general irish soccer bandwagoner has

Because a man made a few controversial points as a pundit, he should be made manager?

i read David O'Learys column in the mirror during these championships and he's talked a lot of sense. Must start a campaign to sack Trap and get Dave in

it shouldnt be about Keane again, but 10 years on sadly it is FFS

McGeady is being targetted for abuse because he plays in the same position as McClean. Simple as that, Duff had a similar, if not worse game, on Sunday night and isnt coming in for any stick
Yes McClean should have been given a go, but the fans are hyping him up way too much
McGeady was our top assist maker in the qualifiers, and got another on Sunday night. Far from the worst player in Green
Bilic got his tactics spot on though and had 2 men on Duff and McGeady at all times though to stop the supply to the strikers, when you stop the wingers like this it nullifies Traps system

Theres always going to be people complaining about Traps selections. Big furore to get McClean picked, seems that he will be picked, but still the knockers aren't happy.

Seamus Coleman has been shite this season and has never done it at international level, yes hasn't been given many chances, but of the games he has had he's never impressed.
Good to see McClean going
As for people mentioning Stephen Ireland, oh dear. Do you really want to see him representing your country at the European Championships?

The only one i feel sorry for is James McCarthy who's been excellent for Wigan this year but obviously Trap doesnt fancy him.

However, how about getting behind the manager and players for a change instead of listening to that wind up merchant and attention seeker Dunphy.

The last game at OT Evra fouled Odemwingie in the box but that wasn't given

Just to the people who continually point to one match in October which evened out the whole seasons decisions

Todays party line that things even themselves out over a season, is this really true? Does every team in football get the exact same dodgy calls for them as against them in a season

Ref didnt have the bottle to give a big call at that stage of the game and season

I would have thought League 1 was more their level?

Thats right, all Celtic players are league one or two standard, theyd never make it in the world class amazing Premier League

Just ask Maloney and Caldwell, 2 players discarded by Celtic.

This is Anfield

Johnson doesn't get near Citys first choice XI when its a big match

comparing players 1-11 doesnt decide who wins the title, its who is the better team, sum of the parts!
Ferguson is the difference though, any other manager would have this United team around 3rd or 4th in my opinion

What a dreamer......

http://joe.ie/football/football-news/alex-ferguson-we-wouldve-got-to-the-champions-league-final-if-we-hadnt-been-knocked-out-0020921-1

he says that every year they get knocked out before the final, same speech after Bayern beat them a few years ago

simple solution - stop getting knocked out by teams you see yourself as better than

I think she went out in the same clothes she had slept in so she hardly spent the time tidying herself up.

Noticed that myself
she definitely didn't wash anyway

Hope the bin dippers take note of the honourable Arsenal fans applauding the injured Phil Jones off the field. No taunting and no interference with medical staff dealing with the injured player.

first thing to help United getting rid of that over hyped p***k

when is a race 1/4 the odds for a placed horse in an each way bet and whens it 1/5 the odds?
does it depend on the size of the field or what?
