Cheering on Hamas and Hezbollah (who killed Sean Rooney). Calling for MPs to be killed
That's really going to help.

Sean Rooney's killing was a terrible deed. Is many awful acts carried out by these groupings.
Israel and the US has committed mass atrocities for decades. Armed groups are going to appear in the face of an imperialist onslaught, often on a population of innocent civilians. IRA was same here.. who were the terrorists though?
Did Kneecap call for killing of Tory MPs? Stupid if true although in the euphoria of a gig, I doubt they meant it literally.

When Israel are trying to paint everyone who objects to their genocide as Hamas supporters, idiots like Kneecap give them an open goal. They need to grow the f**k up and get wise otherwise they will be destroyed (attempt ongoing).

Idiots for calling out genocide? And destroyed by who exactly?

No, idiots for calling for People to kill their local MP!

Quote from: Captain Scarlet on April 25, 2025, 05:17:30 PMThey helped Kildare too. But they also got us back on track in the longer term which costs less.

See the issue is that if the GAA didn't get involved and stood off, allowing vultures in, the same man would be SCATHING of the GAA.

But in this case the GAA are the vulture fund.

Guaranteeing the debt from county boards that have over extended themselves. There's no one getting a big bankers bonus where they go and buy a yacht and holiday home on a European riviera.

But they're calling in more repayments than they're owed. They're screwing over one of their own county boards.

Quote from: thewobbler on April 25, 2025, 12:20:46 PMI don't read this as a scandal so much as the legal transfer of a debt (and its repayment) from one body to another.

GAA central council were right to take on the debt. Should that then mean it's Christmas Day for Mayo? I'm not sure to be honest. They're still assuming a risk. And need to be wary of precedents.

And this is me commenting as someone who truly despises the staffing bloat / civil service mentality that central and provincial councils have created over the past 20 years.

The debt that Mayo owed was potentially written down by 50% if this story is accurate.
But Mayo are still repaying the full amount to Croke Park.
Why should that be the case? Why should Croke Park overcharge Mayo by several million euro?

Hurson very harsh on Ros from what I've seen. some very soft frees for Galway and some fairly obvious fouls against them not given, including penalty.
Galway still look fairly comfortable though

Yes it is unfortunately for some.

Is the GAA+ available on them dodgy sticks? Asking for a friend

A friend said yes but the stream for the cork and kerry match was constantly going down. So he say anyway

Must have been his Internet connection, the stream was perfect for me

Quote from: gallsman on April 19, 2025, 08:57:23 PMIs this what people really want? Utter incompetence from teams and referees glorified because it's dramatic? Lowest common denominator for idiots.

That game ended up close. The football played was, by and large, disgracefully bad.

Yeah, people like to be entertained.

under the radar suggests McStay is some conniving tactical genius who's fooling everyone until he unveils his masterplan when it's least expected.
I hope you're right, because if the team are playing to the gameplan mgmt have given them, they'd want to take a bottle of whiskey and a revolver...

Quote from: Wildweasel74 on April 17, 2025, 09:45:17 PMI don't understand the thinking most up north want border poll. Who are these people? It's never a conversation at work. Fball match. Nites out. Nobody on a decent pension in the future, will vote against it going.People see the disorganisation in govt up here. Then see bigger issues down south. A border poll in the morning, wouldn't even be remotely close, how people think it would amazes me. Lose that one, u be another 20yrs before another. Talk about not reading the room. Until work wages, pensions, road networks, cost of living. Immigration. Possible political violence are addressed the status quo will never change. And no point saying, we sort it all out later. People didn't know what they were voting for with Brexit. They want to know excately what they voting for in a poll and just Irish patriotism will not cut it.

You think wages and roads are better in the north?

Said it god knows how many pages ago. Some lads get seriously triggered by Joe and are the first ones to come here giving off about him. Forget about him if he annoys you that much.  You'll feel much better for it. No one else cares.

It's his hypocritical views that annoys most people.

And the fact he constantly talks over Dion on that podcast don't know how he sticks him.

Don't listen to it!
He'll have no outlet then

He really should win from here, just by keeping par.
Rose looks the biggest threat, Aberg very unlucky with the putter.
