Used evergreen 4 in 1 in early March using a dropper spreader.

Huge mistake.
Few burnt spots but I've got those reseeded so that's not my biggest worry.
There are dark green streaks/patches everywhere and I'm pulling my hair out. You can actually see where i ran out around the septic tank etc. Nobody else seems to notice but it's bad looking.
What do I do? Do I let it grow out? Keep it cut short and just wait? How long does it take for this to go away?
I'm afraid of going over the missed bits with more fertiliser incase I make things worse.

That's the problem with fertiliser. I put it on years ago followed by warm wet weather and it got that thick I couldn't cut the bloody stuff. I've Moss Master to drop next week and it has feed in it so dreading the outcome of that!

Do you scarify after using the moss killer?

No this stuff is supposed to require no labour which is my sort of stuff! The brother in law recommended it.

I would still scarify or at least give it a good rake as will help get rid of any field grass/ crab grass that grows flat and looks terrible.

Generally do a wee mini Reno this time of year. Scarify, iron, scarify again, aeration and then top dress with a bit of sand and overseed. Lawn was a mess 4-5 years ago but looking lot better now.

My lawn needs killed off and started again. It's a mixture of field grass, clover and moss but looks passable when newly mowed. Poorly drained clay soil so it needs shored and resewn but I haven't the energy for it 

Love getting outside so don't mind putting the time in as long as you get the weather. Had to do it, lawn was in shite and fairly big so didn't have the funds to dig up and start again. Amazing what a bit of time and care can do. You could spend some money on the outside if you wanted. The wife is more worried about sorting the inside of the house whereas I'd rather get the gardens sorted and looking well. So we compromised and got the inside done.

But sure according to you, teams were using the same tactics as what he brought into the game up until these new changes were implemented. Hardly left behind.
Derry was always a bad fit. For both sides. Louth improved under his watch, Offaly will too. He's still a good manager. That hasn't changed.

His hatred for MH has tied him up in knots a bit here. It grates him that MH will always be considered one of the best managers in the GAA, especially within Tyrone.

In comparison Klopp won 26 of his first 50 while Fagan and Kenny both had 29.
Some going for Slot. In fairness to Klopp he didn't inherit a great squad but for Slot,a  guy who was supposed to struggle in his first season, 36/50 is a fantastic return.

The challenge is to keep doing it. Conte won a league in his first year at Chelsea and was sacked after his second season. Salah and VVD staying will be a big boost but the league has been poor enough this season with Liverpool the only club playing at a high level. They'll get it tougher next season for sure but at the end of the day Liverpool's name will go on the trophy and it doesn't say everyone else was shite on the roll of honour. Deserved champs but I think they'll definitely need to bring in a few good players to defend it.

This poor/weak league chat is just wrong.

WTF has this got to do with anything? The fact is no other team has been consistent. Liverpool will have lost leagues with more points than they'll get this year. 2nd place is on about 60 odd points and don't think 3rd has even broken 60 yet. Other teams are well below their usual levels of consistency.

Leagues have also been won with less points. 75 points has won a league previously. Theres a fair chance Arsenal will finish above that in 2nd place this year. You could possibly argue that the rest of the field are slightly poorer, but Liverpool are on target to hit the average winning total for premiership winners. So their performance would win the league most years. But yes, there's been no stand out competitor to challenge them. For me there's a difference between league lacking consistency and having a poor winner. If liverpool were creeping over the line on 80 points or under then I'd agree on a poor winner. But chances are they'll be closer to 90. Which is a good place to be when the others are rebuilding.
That said, I'd have happily taken a 74 point win this year.

TBF my original point was Liverpool will have to improve to defend it. Someone will likely emerge from the pack and be a lot better than what they've been up against this year.

They've cruised to it and that's not Liverpool's fault. I would expect Arsenal to be decent if they get a proper goal scorer. City, you'd never know but they need a fair turnover in players so won't be easy for them but they just spend whatever they want. Personally, I don't think this Liverpool team are as good as some of the ones that lost leagues recently but both they and City were setting extraordinary standards. Few key men the wrong side of 30 so might even just need to get them a bit of cover and more rest. 

I'd agree that Liverpool had better teams in some of those years that they lost with Klopp. And to an extent, this title is very much with Klopp's squad. So I think Slot will be looking to put his stamp onto the squad this summer. But with the two contracts confirmed, I think they will go down the route of buying younger, rawer talent now rather than ready made "superstars". It's a lower risk approach.  It worked before for them, but how much of that was due to Klopp's coaching ability and knack of getting the best out of perceived lesser lights. Be an interesting summer.

The rule is, Not handing the ball to the nearest opposition player (handing ball back in full). Sounds like the ref was 100% correct, the player did not hand it back and also not to the nearest opponent.

So if the nearest opposition player is behind you and closer to your own net than you are you have to hand it to them? Sounds like another flaw in the rules. Attackers already have all the advantages they could need. If it's in the rules that they're legally allowed to take a free from 5/10/however many yards the ref deems the closest player is then that needs look at

As far as I understand it is to prevent scenarios where it pays to foul and delay. If you foul then the advantage should be to the player who was fouled. You have to hand the ball back. The reason teams delay is to get players back to prevent scores. The reason players want to throw the ball is so that they can get back and prevent a score. Why, allow the fouler an advantage here, just because that is always how it was?

He threw the ball directly to him? It went to his chest. Nowhere near enough time to gain an advantage and get players back. If he did want to get players back it actually would've suited him to run back towards the player he fouled and hand the ball directly to him like you're saying he should've done. So if he were to follow the rules that were brought in to stop delay of game he would've actually delayed the game more by running back towards the player instead of throwing it to him. That's a bit backwards, no?

We can argue the rights and wrongs of it all year long, but anyone that does it their way when the rules call it another can't really have any complaints

Keeps players apart, so no throwing or slowly walking with the ball over. And if ball has broken free (which I'd guess would be 50% + of times) do the 50m punishment for the aggressor if they touch/ interfere with the ball or player. So attacking team can run and get ball to hit the quick free if on. Prob more similar to what was there before but I think they're trying too hard to control all actions to prevent any negative consequences. And I understand why, but it's a tight line. Its fine to have frustration and have the passion, just direct it elsewhere and not at the ref, he's not doing it back so why give him 'frustration' communication is of course a two way street and better communication from the ref with regards to his call should be enough, whether he's right or wrong, that's the call, jumping about like a header isn't going to fix it

Totally agree. I know there was times when i played that you'd give away a free and it's more anger at yourself that's showing. Or if I didn't think it was a foul, I'd say "aww no!!" But more to myself. I agree , anything directed at the ref should be punished. I know it's hard to fine the line going down that route. Like you say, in the past most refs used common sense whether a player was just frustrated or being argumentative towards the ref. I just hope that continues.

Cheers. Didn't actual know that the ref could move the free/ reverse a free for anything other than player actions. Always thought correct action was yellow card/ red card Mentor and continue with game.
