In the GAA, should we be calling it International Ladies' Day?

If I asked when is International Men's Day, would that be misogynistic?

If women reply that we don't need one and that they need theirs because we are oppressing them, is that being misandrist*?

*Did anyone here, unlike me, know the word for the female equivalent of misogyny?

The place where I work were on skelenton staff recently because the boss decided that all the laydeez should get a half day to go some 'women in business' conference.

Would I not be correct in saying that if there was a men's equivalent (with the equivalent half-day's holiday) there would be a right kick up?

I think a lot of people have a different idea of what it means to be a man and what a woman should be.....

I think women should be Celebrated. Protected. Cherished. Provided for. Loved. I'm not a big fan of the feminazi's.... Or the princesses.
I'm all for 50:50 in the home. I've no problem helping with running the household, cooking and cleaning etc...

I think real men are a shadow of what they once were. I look at my Dad and my Granda and we're not a patch on them or men from their time....
