Money is the main reason. Getting £130,000 a week apparently. thats 10k less a week than Robinho.

Going to be a crazy summer for City

Disappointing. Why would anyone with footballing ambition want to go to Man City? Other than money of course.

chelsea have bought success before and possibly barry thinks that.  i would have imagined he has been giving promises of more quality players.  whether they can gel or not is another matter..

Time will tell. At best I can't see them troubling the top 3 or 4 places inside 3 years. Financially a good move for Barry though as he has given over 10 years to Villa and I would reckon their wages are comparatively lower than many other clubs. Also, they had a pretty disastrous second half to the season which seemed to be overlooked by the press.

As I stated before, Chelsea had success recently before Roman and his money arrived, City haven't..

High possibility of Tevez signing for City.

RSC is a no go. City wanted him for a quick fix in January, Blackburn missed their chance for a big sale and City have other targets lined up.
