Quote from: Ethan Tremblay on July 28, 2024, 08:19:12 PMDelighted for mcgeeney. He has had to swallow some muck over the past few years from a lot of fans, so good his efforts have paid off.

That's 4 different winners in 5 years, so the allireand has certainly opened up again.

Wrong to discount two all Ireland finalists for next year. Both teams have shown good resilience through the year to get to where they got. A lot of teams don't have that resolve.

Who got man of the match?

Isnt man of the match given out at the banquet live on Sunday game?

Very hard to pick, I'd go for Conaty?

YPOTY for me is Conaty too

POTY for me is Rian O'Neill

No way Campbell passed that, the low angle camera shows he never lifted his head once to see the run of McKay. Fair play to McKay for keeping his run going though.

Worst all Ireland final ever?

None of the starting FF lines have scored a point from play. That's an indictment on the type of football these days.

This is fecking dirt. Youd be as well just turning it on for last 10 just to see who wins.

All Ireland final atmosphere now like a morgue, unless Armagh gain possession. Even with fanatical support the type of football played nowadays kills the craic. Only when game is on the line in last 10 do games like this liven up.

Quote from: ONeill on July 14, 2024, 11:34:03 PMThat last attack was so frustrating by Donegal. 2 points down with 60 secs on the clock and passing, passing, passing, passing.

Think their shooting went off the boil in last quarter and their confidence was shot. I was at the game and as a neutral Gallen's missed free was a huge momentum swing.

Doengal camp will feel crap tonight, nothing worse than coming up the road with a load of what ifs, they had the final within their grasp and lost all composure in final quarter.

I'm heading down today, my football mad 8 year old wants to go to croker for his birthday. Great day for it and hopefully we're in for even half the game as yesterday. Best of luck to both teams.

Tell you what, the race for Sam next year going to be wide open with Dublin and Kerry falling back into the pack. Youd easily have 8 teams with genuine ambitions for Sam.

Mighty banter on BBC, their production light years ahead of RTE!

Aidan Nugent with 3 big errors in last 10 mins. Could have won it if they were cut out and Oisin ONeill took his chance.

Can still see Armagh winning and, God forgive me, want to see them doing it.

Some finish by McCambridge. Last week the Rossie's couldn't miss, they can't hit a barn door today

Even with red tinted glasses on that was a pathetic red card. Utterly ridiculous.
