Louth then Roscommon would be a nice starter

Sure what chance do Tyrone have when the GAA are marginalising them so horrifically? Ye won't beat Carlow with those sorts of unfair odds stacked against ye.

Maybe one day someone will care enough about Roscommon to marginalise them.

Or Tyrone.

I can't imagine Tyrone will be caring about Roscommon anytime soon.
That was never a square ball!!

? if tyrone were twice refused a ballboy by ulster council, how come monaghan were allowed one in Clones(young lad wearing navy who fed balls to monaghan keeper throughout entire match).

Does this mean;-
1;- there are different rules for tyrone?   If so,does this mean ulster council are cheats?
2;-monaghan never asked permission to use ballboy ,but just slipped him on hoping nobody would notice?   is this cheating by       monaghan?
3;-the young lad just decided himself to do ballboy for monaghan! is he a cheat? should joe93 question this lads manliness and inform viewers that none of this is NOT  in keeping within the spirit of the game??
3;-tyrone were disadvantaged unfairly for quick kickouts as Clarke was told by 4th official to return to his seat in the stand at the start
of the second half, leaving Morgan with no feeder for entire 2nd half (stats would indicate tyrone fared badly from own kickouts won 2nd half).

The Ulster council is full of Monaghan men. I wouldn't put it past them Monaghan men to have set up Cavan and Armagh and made them gut other before the parade, having got the goat up in them over the flegs.

And on Sunday they supplied a ball boy to Beggan but chased Morgan's man. You just couldn't watch the Monaghan lads in the Ulster council. Tyrone should object and ask for a different band and a fully certified non Monaghan ball boy for all future games.

I assume Clarke was asked to return to his seat because of his antics for the penalty, not because of what he was doing as a ball boy.

I don't see the problem. Surely anything that speeds the game up is a good thing.
Exactly, with all the crying going on about how long it takes goalkeepers to take free kicks, surely anything that speeds up the kickouts is a good thing  :-\

This doesn't make  a lot of sense. What is the punishment if the ball-boy feeds the goalkeeper directly? There is no rule book penalty to punish it so basically there is nothing a referee can do. So it is a rule without enforceability.

Again what can they do if someone sits in the stands just behind the goal with a pile of balls and throws on on when they want to. in a quiet moment the keeper could then hurl a few back to keep the stock up.

It is just a stupid rule.

Incidentally the article (and much media) says: "Clarke (left) was waving his hands furiously behind Morgan's goals when Monaghan's Kieran Hughes struck a first-half penalty"

That is a pile of crap. Clarke stood behind the goal with his arms outstretched. there was no furious waving of arms. I agree it was unsporting and the ref should stop a member of support team from interfering like that as they are on a privileged position to be so close to the play in the first place. But there was no furious waving of arms, more a static "Christ the Redeemer" pose

Not the first Tyrone man to act like he's being crucified.

No, you're mixing up Peter Canavan. He's God, not Jesus.

How come the GAA seem to act pretty quickly when it comes to unimportant issues like this, yet when it comes to the like of the Nash rule or re-clarification around the black card loopholes they bury their head in the sand for a lifetime.  My biggest issue at the minute is still with the unfair nature of the minor championships, joke situation.

Dont Matter

Dubl$n have paid ballboys at their service. They're specially trained to throw the ball with a little bit of backspin so it stops nicely for Cluxton on the 14 yard line, he then places it on his €2,000 tee and passes it to a free man who's marker just kicked the ball dead 1.53 seconds earlier.
It's a good move to end this sort of carry on.

Progress, now to randomly allocate dressing rooms and ends of pitches to all teams in Croke Park. Neutral ball boys does seem a bit over the top though, should just leave ball at the base of the netting behind the goal and let the keeper run around as fast or slow as he likes. Are the umpires going to be bringing along a young lad each now?

Why cant all teams be allowed to nominate a ball boy if they want? That leaves it a level playing field for all teams and that way if they want to speed up the kick outs they can?If a keeper wants to slow it down , there isnt much you can do about it.
