SLIGONIAN

Sligo won 14 to 5 positive start but nothing can be read into really, bigger tests ahead...

The Indo had plumped for IT, but what do they know? Didn't know Alan Costello and David MayE had emigrated, big losses for Sligo, particularly Costello.

Ros 0-04 to Leitrim 0-01, early second half. January style football.

Sligo IT were severely under strength today lads. Exams at the moment too. Hard to be competitive with all that going on. I was far from impressed with Sligo today either. Better team but twill be interesting to see where they are against higher opposition.

Didn't know Laythrum bate us in July .
Sh1te display yesterday which hopefully will be wake up call for a lot of lads to get the lead out and start performing.
We're certainly goin the right way about avoiding a costly trip to NY anyway.
Davy's given us a dream to cling to

He was I hear. The IT were very short but some of the younger Sligo players showed up well I hear. Managing some of these young players is crucial and I hope it's done properly as I felt some decisions with these lads last year left a lot to be desired.

Strange, the Indo had it in their preview. Is Costello definitely gone though?
