Why did South Africa drop McCarthy? Are they blessed with star strikers?

Because he is overweight and couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo. I'm guessing.

I do declare that I have now seen it all......

There is virtual football on in the bookies... Went in earlier for my usual morning dander and it was just kicking off. Apparently there is a "super league" of 12 teams and they going to run of a whole season of games each morning with games lasting 3 minutes!! The first "live" fixture featured Sunderland City at home to Manchester Athletic (an exciting 2 all draw for anyone interested). You can do the full range of bets from ht-ft and first goalscorer right through to who'll win the league.

You will be happy to know that there were no contentious descisions in the first game

That not been doing the rounds in England a few years now? They even have virtual formula one the last time I was in a William Hills.

Yeah, ABC have cancelled and a raft of other shows. Clearly recorded before this was all decided.

Alot left hanging in air and still alot of questions to be answered.

Apparently the ratings dropped in US but across Europe and Asia its very popular. Have to say i really enjoyed it, it dipped after the first 5/6 but really picked up again.

Bring it back!!

In fairness lads, Re this training, I'd say everyone on here could talk of been involved with teams where training has been super, positive, sharp etc etc and its failed to materialise on the day. Alot of the time it does and its a great start but at this level, I am sure both teams will be flying in training, in fact there is probably 20 odd counties "flying " in training at the minute.

All will be told on Sunday.

I'd be disappointed if both McQuaid and Damien Freeman come back into half back line. While McQuaid has a case and has by all accounts never been in better form for Tyholland and looks in super shape, Damien looked off the pace last year and seeing him for Maghercloone this year he has looked off the pace even at club level.

It would also give a bad message to players who busted themselves in the league and then find themselves on the outside now for the big games. There is prob one opening in the half forward line and I'd not be surpised if Damien lines out there and drops back as the extra man at the back, a depressing feature of gaelic football at the minute.

Shocking stuff, Isreal obviously see themelves as untouchable and have no respect for human life of any nation.

I'd be surprised if nothing more is done but a public dressing down by all the major nations and a "pull the horns in till this blows over" dressing down behind closed doors.

Has the world ever been in such a high level since the end of WWII, the whole middle east is like a powder keg with ongoing conflict in Iraq and Afganiskan, Korea's could kick off at any stage it seems if one wrong move made by either side, africa seems to as far from been a develop continent as ever. Worrying times.

I don't see what the over reaction is about, some clown posted it on internet forum. If they really wanted they could get similar comments on this forum eg on Gerry Ryans thread.

People love to be outraged, ignore the idiots and don't give them publicity they grave.

Ps did you's ring Joe Duffy to tell them you's are "outraged"

I'd actually be tidy in her absence and would be a tidy as you go person.

As someone said, it depends if the kids are gone as well. Its carnage if they are about - 10mths and 2 1/2.

In fairness if they all gone, I'd more than likely be out and taking advantage of a few scoops, sadly thats a rare event.

Sam Jacks could be a similar type of spot.

But you'll not fail in finding a busy spot.

Hearing that Monaghan may have a couple of injury worries as well.
