Has the Westmeath manager Colm Kelly stepped down rumour circulating on twitter he has die to a player going against his wishes and playing at the weekend...
All is not well in Westmeath it seems...
Story going around that Heaslin is fit but doesn't want to play??
Anyone from that area confirm?
Still the makings of a very good team and usually turn it on for the leinster championship so everyone in Laois knows we are still up against it!
the rumours may be true
but will the CB patch things up?
Stephen Wallace is taking over.
hopefully he is gone.
The Biffs rolled us over last league game and got roundly beaten by the team bottom of division 4. the formbook does not read good.
also - ive not been on here in years and been dying to post something after reading the profit and loss accounts of the counties in the info last week.
Westmeath ranked last regards to p/l returning a loss of - €266,000 . this is a serious loss of money. Will Westmeath be the first GAA county to go bankrupt??? most counties sat either plus or minus €20k

Gromit is assisting
Ye f**kers can't even let us have our own managerial crisis without having one of yer own. It's like when one of your kids gets a bug, and the other one decides they feel sick so they can get spoiled too!
Just waiting for it all to kick off in Laois now.
Will bring the merger closer ;D
And the new Jersey will knock Carlow's off the top spot
Maroon, blue, green, yalla and white hoops.
Does the manager departing mean a few of the guys that opted out last week may decide to return?

wind the neck in AZ. our crisis is much more real as the vast majority of the country would expect us to be st least challenging for the Super 8.

No reason why we couldn't if we had all our players available and a decent management setup in charge.
Kelly wasn't at training last night, reason being given is that he had family commitments. Read into that on the week of championship, and Jimmy Dolan heading to the States, what you will.
If Heaslin was fit but didn't want to play he wouldn't have hung around doing maor uisce at the O'Byrne Cup final.
So Kelly is still the Westmeath manager ? Just seen an interview on westmeaths twitter
