It appears David Brady was talking through his hole re Diarmuid O'Connor  ::)

An U20 lad who wasn't on the panel up to a few weeks ago and now given the number 18 jersey is a big surprise
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

I know Conor Diskin,Brian Reape,Cian Hanley are now overseas but what has happened to Evan Regan,Ger Cafferkey,David Drake,James Durcan to no longer make the 26?

Mayo don't look great here. Going to be a tight game by the looks of it.

Entertainment what more could supporters or neutrals ask for.

Half time Mayo 0-7 Meath 0-7  Meath find themselves level even though they went 18 minutes without a score but have lost Newman to injury a massive blow to them.

Both teams will regret missed chances, but Mayo more in that they missed some easy ones. Three or four into the keepers arms, a few bad wides. They were well on top for ten or fifteen minutes towards the end of the first half, but didn't make it count. Meath are defended very well however, and look dangerous on the break.

Did I hear Marty say " Meath are not going away " about 2mins before half time and they a point behind. Does he ever listen to himself.

So far so good. Poor decision making up front but we're getting chances all the same. Defense has been great but wonder how long they'll last. That final ten minutes will be decisive. Walsh is a good prospect and now how has a chance to make a mark. Conlon has been too far out when he gets the ball.
It won't be the next manager but the one after that Meath will become competitive again - MO'D 2016

Mayo no doubt thankful its Meath and not their neighbours Dublin they are playing today.

5 weeks out in a row for Mayo! A bit of a disgrace asking Amateur players to do this. They look stale. Meath even look stale with their 3 weeks out in a row!

Mayo are in a battle to get a bare win here in a game they should be well ahead in

A bare win means there's a good chance they'll be effectively out of the championship by 6pm
