Countess Mountbatten, daughter of Lord Louis, and cousin of the Duke of Edinburgh, dies, aged 93. Survived an IRA bomb off Co Sligo in August 1979 that killed her father and son.

tv presenter and campaigner for the reopening of the waterways around Ireland passed away on Friday
was a lovely man and I loved his presenting style on those programmes
also a great man to visit schools and give talks around the country

Sad to hear that. He did a show around Ireland's coast, which was very enjoyable, and seen him in a few other documentaries.
