Watching that was like watching one of those FA Cup games where some no-mark Conference side get a cheeky goal against a Premier League team and everyone gets all excited before the better team simply turn it up a gear and go on to win easily. United are a shambles.

So that's 12 penalties for the pool this season.

Since Rogers kicked up a stink they've been getting a lot of favourable treatment
Both of them were clear penalties yesterday I don't understand how anyone thinks otherwise.
The goalkeeper grabbed the Liverpool players leg and pulled him down . It's a peno all day long imo.

I'm only joking FFS. I seem to remember plenty on here wishing him good luck earlier in the season when Utd we're playing them. Chill out.

Why bother posting then, it's hardy funny?

A bit touchy. I'll put it down to nerves for the big run in.

Ha ha you do that, you should actually be commended for not hiding on here after making a bit of a t**t of yourself now and again...some might say you are a 'source' of inspiration!

Now and again? I would have said ALL OF THE TIME.

Going to be a strange one alright, LFC fans cheering for United and United fans cheering for city!
But believe me I won't have a problem celebrating if Wazza or giggsy scores ( in tonight's game only)

Why would Utd fans be cheering for City? City and Liverpool play in a few weeks so let them sort it out between themselves. If you think Utd fans will want to loose against City to disadvantage Liverpool then you are underestimating the Manchester Derby.
It's 'lose' not 'loose'.
And you've already stated you hope United get worse this season which means you will be shouting for City tonight?

United will be the whipping boys in the next round. Everyone will be hoping they draw them.
I would fear for them against a Munich or Madrid,or pretty much all the teams left.

Is it a open draw?

How did Connolly behave at the celebrations? Any jaws broken?

Only jaws broken were the ones of our begrudgers hitting the floor when they saw the sheer genius of his second goal and saying to themselves

" We don't have players in our county who can do that"
More of a hurling man meself to be honest so I don't care about who you have to score goals.

My advice would be to stick to hurling then
I didn't ask for your advice.

Lead wiped out in first half. If Manchester United go through how important will those DeGea saves be?
Are you asking or telling?

Allot of Liverpool lads losing the run of themselves here. We beat a Man United team in disarray. Lesser sides have turned them over this season. City have no longer the added burden of extra Champions league and FA Cup matches. They can fully focus on league games and this leaves them with a great chance.Same for Chelsea with the FA Cup. And lets not forget Arsenal who have not gone away despite the media having forgot about them. The reality is Liverpool have gone from playing for fourth to playing for third and a small chance of finishing 1st or 2nd.
I dunno I think if Liverpool keep playing like they are then they can win all remaining games.
It will be difficult to keep the level up but Liverpool are the form team in the league atm.
Anyone who doesn't believe they are title contenders are fooling themselves.
Granted United were/are an easy touch right now but Liverpool were outstanding and even at that I've seen them play better this season.
Rodgers deserves great credit imo. He has turned a team who finished 7th last year into title contenders,  Moyes has done the exact opposite.

I was watching the documentary by Neil Delamere last night on St Patrick.  In it it was said that the practice of leaving spaces between words in text was first adopted by the Irish.  Hmmm.
