First home defeat in over a year in all competitions. 31 games, 27 wins and 4 draws. Brighton in the first game of last season was the last team to win a Premier league game in Old Trafford.

Lack of reaction to the Arsenal defeat and as I said before United will be lucky to finish 6th if the home form goes to pot.

Today United were the better side for the opening 20 mins. Brighton scored from their first attack of the game and played the match on their own terms after that for a deserved win. Bayern away next won't be pretty.

Givit Giggsy t'end of season. He knows the DNA of the club. This is Manchestah Yanited. Biggest club in the world.

Ten hag booed heavily at the end of the game. The walls are closing in. Basket case of a club.

Hard to know where they go from here. Title ambitions over already only 5 games in. They'll be lucky to get Top 4.
Just seems to be one mess after another for them.
Tomorrow is promised to no one.

Manc tears, mind the gap

Walter Cronc

Totally outplayed. United will be after De Zerbi shortly. ETH miles off it with no identifiable playing style.

That's a nice stat and all that and you are a great man for the positive stats for Man United, makes it sound like yesterday was only a blip and all is good.
On the other hand Man United have lost 3 out of their first five games of the season for the first time since 1989 which probably tells a more realistic story of their current fortunes than your stat.
Tomorrow is promised to no one.

Utd have lost more games this season than the top 6 clubs combined.

I've said before that my biggest issue with Ten Hag is that United don't have an obvious style of play since he joined, just as structureless as they have been before.

To put that stat into perspective further United were one win off their best home run since 2012-13 the last team managed by Ferguson and won the league in April.

The stat was a point towards why United finished in the top 4 last season with 75 points, best hope  for them now is that yesterday was a blip and go on another good run in Old Trafford as will be lucky to finish 6th without it.

Brighton are a very good side.  Sometimes teams lose to very good sides, even when they are the "bigger" club.

I know Brighton are a good side but it's the manner in which Utd are beaten week in week out that is concerning. The 2nd half against spurs was the same and wolves did the same as well but fortunately they sneaked a win from that.

Squad is a mess. They spunked 70m on Casemiro who had a decent season last year but looks miles off it now. 70 mil and what 300k a week for one season. They have £150m worth of right wingers not even training with the 1st team squad for different reason. Both of whom they massively overpaid for. Massive overpayment on Maguire too means they are stuck with assets they can't shift and FFP restrictions.

They get stroked when buying players, stroked when selling players and for some reason the players stroke them when they're there. Like even DDG can't get a club, and he was starting for UTD last season.
The club is a mess at it's very core and that is why they're in the mess they are in. Rangnick called the board out and he was soon disappeared. The Glazers and their lackeys have completely destroyed the club. The stadium is falling down, the training ground is championship standard and the squad is a miss mash of over paid muck that can neither play or the club can even sell.

There we go, blame the glazers despite having the most expensive squad in PL history and Seven Hag having a higher net spend in his time at United compared to Klopp at Liverpool. Glazers don't spend money apparently. Manc tears. Get the Norwich scarves back out  ;D
