I also scratched a car one time in France. Europcar billed me after about 900 euros. I didn't pay because I said they were ripping me off.
Thena few months later I felt a bit guilty rang them said look do you want to take this payment but the girl said this is Europcar UK you need to ring Europcar France. Ah f**k that I said I tried my best.
Of course it means I can't book Europcar anymore but plenty of other options available, I have just had to be careful since then the other ones I have went to book were not a subsidy of Europcar. Have had maybe five or six hire cars since with other companies no bother.

Got a speeding fine myself from France about four or five years ago. One letter just in French, I ignored it, haven't heard anything since.

Facebook as a whole is polluted now with bots, scam/imitation pages etc. The business pages I run are tortured daily now with fake pages trying to scam the followers.

There is a moderation assist function where you can ban certain words or links being posted if it ever gets to that stage with yourselves.

Seen a lot of the ones in the Bella Italia group just had to abandon their hire cars at the site last week. No fit state to drive back to the airports.

The hail storm during the week at Lake Garda was mental. Cars and mobiles all ruined.

Anyone fly into Bergamo and holiday in Lake Garda? Huge difference in prices of flights to Bergamo v Verona. 1600 v 2600 for the four of us.

Yeah we flew into Bergamo when staying at Bella Italia. Hired a car and it was a handy drive about 50-60 mins mostly motorway. Saved a good bit compared to Verona. Actually booked the other day going back end of May.

Got a good saving booking direct with Bella Italia this time compared to Eurocamp that we normally book with.

As for the fella above asking about kids, Eurocamps are the best imo. Though we have also been to Magic Natura twice and it is great. Prices are mental this year compared to what we have paid previous. Magic Natura is handy compared to most hotels / all inclusives because you get the wee lodges and can put the kids to bed and then still sit up.

Anyone know the best way to get from Charles DeGaulle airport to Eurodisney?

I'm told there's shuttle buses.

The Disney Magic Shuttle will drop you off at your Disney hotel if you are staying on site.

There is the TGV that only takes about 12 mins as well but it is from a different terminal so you have to hop over to it after you pick up your luggage, it brings you to the train station at Disney Village. If staying in a Disney hotel you can drop the luggage off upstairs in the station and they will take it to the hotel for you, you can go straight to the parks and then go back get your luggage when checking in later.

I'll say one think for Sinn Fein, after the scandal in UK about MPs having second jobs, no fear of any of them having a second job! Not too many had first jobs before they became politicians in the first place!

Haha LOL thats class mate.

Got the phone call at 1pm on Monday my wee girl was a contact at her after school on Friday. So I'd to leave work and go and get her.

The nearest test centre available for me that afternoon was f**king Ballycastle at 2.30pm. It's an hour and a half drive for me.

Hadn't even had my lunch yet was driving down the road f**king starving eating the remainder of my wee girl's lunchbox to keep me going!

Negative result came through Tuesday morning which was good she only missed a couple of hours school on the Monday. I know other parents from the after school that haven't had their results back yet.

Heading to Cork for a few days. I have a five year old and an 18 month old so it's a long drive for them.

We are gonna hit the road early then go to the zoo for a couple of hours then get lunch and hopefully them two will sleep for an hour or so in the car.

What I'm looking to know is there anywhere good for kids then round say Thurles, Cashel, Fermoy direction for one last stop before we go on to the end?

We would generally eat well during the week but Christ have i a sweet tooth. The kids sweet cupboard gets raided pretty often and biscuits are my downfall. We are getting fed up with the same dinners week in week out so have taken up those Hello Fresh offers I've seen advertised so looking forward to trying those this weekend. Anyone else used them? I believe they are having problems with delivery to here due to Brexit.

I've got Hello Fresh meal a few times, normally only when they send me a 40 or 50% discount. The food is nice and definitely makes you try new things but the portions aren't great to be honest. Maybe I'm just a greedy bastard.

I was pricing up Centre Parcs for three nights in May / June time and the cheapest was nearly 700E (two adults two children), and then on top of that you would have to pay for your food, drink, any activities booked (you only get the pool included and even then you only get limited visits now with COVID).

By the time it all added up it would be cheaper for us to get away for a week in the sun all inclusive. And sure it could piss down all weekend in Longford if you are unlucky enough.
