People are more educated and have access to more information than peasants in the 7th century did. It is not surprising that faith is under pressure.
Catholicism has very little to offer modern women.

This is codswallop Seafoid in my experience women usually easily outnumber men at mass.

Why would faith be under pressure from education? The only thing that's its under pressure from is the cultural rise of self-importance, but long term thats likely to be only a blip as it will be checked by society.

But if you keep repeating mantra eventually you'll convince yourself.

Hmmm.

Just found this on YouTube (off the ball shared it on Facebook). As a Tyrone man this was hard to post considering our Ulster exit and the Croke park shambles!!

Highlights of almost every game from the 2002 championship...

Really, who gives a shite about inauguration numbers, Obama kicked his ass on that score, move on.

As for what people think on silly issues, it does not matter, Trump won and now Ryan and the GOP have to make sure they keep the President in check, and they can.

Er, the POTUS seems pretty preoccupied by it.

"One rainy day on January 20th, 2017, an old man approaches the White House
from across Pennsylvania Avenue where he'd been sitting on a park bench.
He speaks to the U.S. Marine standing guard and says,

"I would like to go in and meet with President Obama."
...

The Marine looks at the man and says,

"Sir, Mr. Obama is no longer president and no longer resides here."

The old man says,

"Okay," and walks away.

The following day the same man approaches the White House and says to the same Marine,

"I would like to go in and meet with President Obama."

The Marine again tells the man,

"Sir, as I said yesterday, Mr. Obama is no longer president and no longer resides here."

The man thanks him and again walks away.

On the third day, the same man approaches the White House and speaks to the very same U.S. Marine, saying,

"I would like to go in and meet with President Obama."

The Marine, understandably agitated at this point, looks at the man and says,

"Sir, this is the third day in a row you have been here asking to speak to Mr. Obama. I've told you already that Mr. Obama is no longer the president and no longer resides here. Don't you understand?"

The old man looks at the Marine and says,

"Oh, I understand. I just love hearing it."

The Marine snaps to attention, salutes, and says,

"See you tomorrow, Sir!"

.,, and on the fifth day the old man approached the Marine and told him he was unwell and poor.  And the Marine replied: "Well, get used to that bench you were sitting on 'cos, if you were seeking healthcare, it'll be your home."

Is anybody watching this shambolic carry on (you couldn't call it a speech) at Langley. Absolutely jaw-dropping. Apart from the self congratulatory bombast and the peevish point scoring, it makes Jolene Bunting look like Cicero.

+1. Shocking stuff.  A buffoon.  A dangerous buffoon.

Some woman was doing the crap commentating.

Ain't no 't' in McParland, Mrs; though she's not the only one who makes this annoying error.

Assuming there are unbroken lines of Jewish lineage where for thousands of years circumcision has been performed, are Jewish males showing signs of adapting to the fact that they no longer need their foreskins?

Do you not get the emails from office?

You get your card scanned at specific gate numbers. Only all ticket matches are tickets sent out.

You get charged unless you use your 'opt out' card, whether you attend or not.
Cheers, Goats. Brother-in-law ordered mine at the start of the year and had both mine and his sent to his address. He's in the States on hols at mo. So, would I need a physical hard ticket on or would the swiping of the ST get me in?

at least the season ticket will get us in.  I hope that its a great game, played in the right spirit and two great sets of supporters supporting their team - just like last week.
Championship fever is upon us all

What way do the Season Tickets work?  Are you billed whether you attend or not?   "Unfortunatley" I have a wedding on Saturday so won't be able to get to Aughrim.  Last Saturday evening I paid in at the turnstile: were tickets to have been sent out in advance (if so they didn't arrive)?

Holey moley.  One  promising league campaign and already jamie clarke is every bit as good as gooch or brogan!  He'll be the next canavan by christmas!  ;)

League campaign?

Anyway.  Best team won today,  no question about it at all.   Good luck to Derry in the final.
